Tenderness Has Its Time

Blurb:

His best friend got dumped by a woman and, from then on, swore off booze and women. He had no interest in romance and stayed faithful to her for three years, keeping his bed empty.

When He Tingyuan heard about it, he grew curious. He wanted to meet his friend's old flame and see what kind of celestial beauty she was. How could she have been so ruthless as to dump a rich, handsome campus heartthrob, take his money, and still leave him pining for her?

But when He Tingyuan finally met her, he was sorely disappointed.

The girl was utterly ordinary. Ordinary looks, ordinary figure, ordinary family background. Her personality was as wooden as could be, and she barely spoke. She was incredibly dull.

At the time, He Tingyuan scoffed at the idea.

He never imagined that one day,

in the still, restless hours of the night, he too would think again and again of her cool, delicate features.
