Cinderella's Wicked Beta Stepsister

In her previous life, Chao Rong was an outstanding female Omega officer. She'd led troops and fought enemies, piloted mechs and cursed out politicians. Through her own efforts, she'd risen above her origins as a poor orphan from the slums. On the eve of victory in the great war, Chao Rong thought that once she got home, she could finally retire and live out her dream of eating her fill and waiting to die. Instead, she was brutally assassinated, meeting her end among the stars and artillery fire. As she lay dying, she saw the bastard who'd ambushed her: a stern-looking male Alpha in uniform, standing on the deck of a battleship and watching her die with cold indifference. - After being reborn, Chao Rong became the stepdaughter of a noble family in the Empire, the unwanted baggage from her mother's second marriage: a Beta girl who had nothing going for her but her looks. Though she was notorious, Chao Rong wept with joy. At last she could spend her days eating, drinking, and attending tea parties. She could be a carefree layabout in plain sight, without worrying about being affected by pheromones. But she soon discovered she had a few problems to deal with: 1. Her Cinderella stepsister was a rare Omega, and she'd bullied and tormented her many times. 2. She was about to face the wrath of Cinderella's many admirers. 3. In her previous life, the original owner of this body had slept with the Empire's supreme military commander, General Heydrich. And Heydrich was the bastard Alpha who'd killed her in her previous life! Chao Rong: ... Goodbye, friends. I'm setting sail tonight.
