Sweet, rebellious, slightly timid beauty 🐰 x stern, abstinent, sexy daddy 🦁
Unconventional Hong Kong vibes / Hong Kong power player / reunion after years apart / age gap / height difference / status difference / older man / flirtatious hunter / the "second male lead" takes the lead
Blurb: On a rainy night outside a hotel, Xu Xiyue accidentally caught her boyfriend wrapped around another woman, kissing her passionately. He even called the other woman "baby" with such tenderness.
Oh, Xu Xiyue knew that baby. She was Song Fan, the heiress of Hong Kong's Song Group.
Xu Xiyue calmly walked over and tapped the couple, who were kissing like they couldn't bear to part. "It's broad daylight. Please be mindful of your surroundings, and stop blocking the way."
Qin Li turned pale. "Xi... Xiyue? What are you doing here? I... You, you have to let me explain."
Song Fan gave a scornful laugh. "What's there to explain? Are you willing to spend your whole life poor with her?"
Xu Xiyue looked at the shameless pair. "Qin Li, remember this: I'm the one dumping you today. And I wish you both a hundred years of happiness. Make sure you stay together forever!"
*
At a private salon, Xu Xiyue ran into the awful couple again. When they started provoking her, she casually grabbed a handsome, tall man and lifted her chin. "This is my new boyfriend."
Song Fan's legs went weak. "U-Uncle, shouldn't you be in Hong Kong? What are you doing here?"
The man was refined and composed. He wrapped an arm around Xu Xiyue, gallant yet domineering, radiating an overwhelming presence. "You should call her Aunt."
Song Fan: ?
Qin Li: ??
Xu Xiyue: ???
The random passerby she'd grabbed to deal with her ex turned out to be the famous head of the Song Group. Xu Xiyue braced herself and said, "Thank you for helping me, Mr. Song. I hope we never meet again."
Song Mingyan sneered. "Miss Xu, is that how casually you give thanks? You think you can use me and run? Do you know there's no such thing as a free lunch?"
"How much do you want?" Xu Xiyue frowned, afraid he'd make an outrageous demand. She hurriedly stuffed all the cash she had into the hands of the impeccably dressed, noble-looking man in front of her. "Is this enough?"
Song Mingyan lowered his eyes to the 250 yuan in his hand and shook his head with an amused smile. "It's not even enough for a cup of coffee. I'm afraid you'll have to repay me in kind."
"???"
Xu Xiyue was stunned that the man wasn't playing by the rules. Only then did she realize she'd provoked someone she never should have!
Little scene:
Late at night, surrounded by hazy, intoxicating passion, Xu Xiyue finally saw Song Mingyan's true face: a shameless gentleman on the outside. Leaning against his firm chest, she pointed angrily ahead with her delicate hand. "It's such a waste to plant flowers on all this land. You should grow vegetables!"
The next day, the sprawling flower garden at the hillside villa in Hong Kong had been transformed into a pastoral vegetable garden.
The story made the headlines and sparked heated discussion: The lonely heir of Hong Kong's wealthiest family turned into King Zhou of Shang, openly showing off his true love and throwing a fit just to make his beauty smile.
Someone couldn't help asking for confirmation. "Mr. Song, are the rumors online just baseless gossip?"
The usually cold and ruthless man had always ignored gossip, but this time he stopped. Refined and dignified, he replied patiently, "I'm making her happy."
Sweet on the surface but rebellious at heart, little white rabbit * abstinent, fatherly big lion / French translator * Hong Kong power player
---A long, hard night in the humid summer, with Hong Kong rain on the way!
This story is also called "Help, I Ended Up in a Hong Kong Power Player's Rolls-Royce"
It looks like the heroine is chasing the hero, but in truth, the best hunters are always...
Reading Guide:
1. The leads are both formidable. They have a six-year age gap. Neither is perfect, and both have strengths and flaws. They are fictional characters with no real-life counterparts, and the setting is entirely fictional.
2. The heroine is the ultimate sweet temptress, loves and hates clearly, and is rebellious to the core, but she has boundaries.
3. Both leads are virgins, one-on-one romance, happy ending, very romantic. The hero is clean in mind and body, devoted, devious, and hopelessly in love with the heroine alone.
4. The villains include both men and women, and wickedness knows no gender or age. This isn't intended to discriminate against anyone; it's all in service of the plot.
5. The hero is from Hong Kong. The story's map includes a few locations in Hong Kong, and there are a few lines of Cantonese.
6. Slow-burn slice of life. I'm terrible at writing blurbs. More to come. Enjoy reading!

Title: The Wealthy Couple's Daily Act of Pretending to Be Sick
Blurb: Lin Jingjing is the least favored daughter in the Lin family.
Her eldest sister is sharp and capable, able to charm anyone.
Her second sister is exceptionally talented and has a host of admirers.
Her younger brother is the apple of everyone's eye, cherished as if he might break.
Only Lin Jingjing has been frail and sickly since childhood. Everyone avoids her, and people call her the modern-day Lin Daiyu.
The Lin family doesn't keep idle mouths. By that, they mean Lin Jingjing, who is neither talented nor capable. So as soon as she came of age to marry, her calculating family sent her off for a political marriage.
Lin Jingjing would rather die than submit, but her profit-minded family gave her only one choice: marry obediently and live in comfort.
Crying, making a scene, and threatening to hang herself didn't work. Lin Jingjing took her savings and prepared to run away in secret, but to her complete surprise, she ran into her frail fiancé, a sickly man in a wheelchair with both legs paralyzed.
Oh no! Her sickly fiancé had suddenly shown up. With her escape plan about to fail, Lin Jingjing cleverly pretended to faint.
The frail, gloomy man was taken aback. His fiancée really was as delicate as the rumors claimed. He had intended to make her see reason and call off the engagement herself.
Then, he changed his mind and immediately called an ambulance...

Title: "Summer's Song"
Blurb: In her second year of high school, Xia Xingli came to the city for the first time from her mountain village and moved into the Xu family mansion, as luxurious as a palace.
Her mother was a housekeeper for the Xu family.
The Xu family had a spoiled second-generation rich kid, Xu Minglan, who was arrogant and unruly and didn't care about anyone.
You could offend anyone, but never the all-conquering young master of the Xu family.
The day they first met, cicadas sang in the height of summer.
Xia Xingli carried a worn-out woven-plastic bag and wore a school uniform faded from too many washes. She couldn't even speak Mandarin properly as she went to find her room.
In the Xu family's grand mansion, a group of fashionable young men and women gathered around Xu Minglan, barbecuing in the courtyard.
Someone pointed curiously at Xia Xingli, who looked completely out of place. "Young Master Xu, who's that girl?"
The pampered darling of the crowd lifted his dazzling, peach-blossom eyes and said coolly, "The one who takes out the trash."
In the shade of the courtyard, Xia Xingli looked up at the dazzling boy among the crowd. He was cool and noble, untouchable and out of reach.
They were in the same place, yet seemed to belong to two different worlds.
~~
After school started, Xia Xingli was forced to sit next to Xu Minglan and saw just how popular he was. Someone new confessed to him every day, and he received so many love letters and gifts he could barely hold them all, yet he remained unmoved.
Xia Xingli knew what she wanted: study hard, get into her ideal university, and do what she loved in the future.
To get through high school peacefully, Xia Xingli had no choice but to rely on Young Master Xu's influence. Before long, she became his little sidekick.
One day, Xu Minglan was injured by accident. On a hot, restless summer night, his dark eyes were unreadable, and his voice was low and hoarse. "Xia Xingli, come here and let me kiss you."
Just before graduation, Xu Minglan and Xia Xingli agreed to study abroad together.
But instead, he received word that she had left without saying goodbye.
From that day on, Xia Xingli's name became taboo. No one dared mention it in front of Xu Minglan.
~~
Years later, they met again at a business conference. Xia Xingli had brought her latest design to seek investment, only to unexpectedly run into the man seated at the head of the table.
By then, Xu Minglan had become a major investor in the business world.
He sneered at her design and said coldly, "Trash. It's not worth investing in."
After the meeting, Xu Minglan blocked Xia Xingli's way inside his luxury car.
On a damp, rainy night, he held her captive in his arms. His eyes reddened, and he fought to hold back the emotion in his cool voice. "Xia Xingli, how dare you show your face? Do you remember what you did?"
Xia Xingli said, "I was young and foolish. It was just a game. Why take it seriously, Mr. Xu?"
The man laughed in anger and called her by name. "I'll let you keep playing."
Outside, rain poured down. Xia Xingli's voice was calm and flat. "I don't take out trash."
-----That summer, amid the cicadas' song, I met you.
One glimpse, and my heart was stirred for a lifetime.

Title: A Marriage First, Love Later with a Powerful Beijing Heir
Blurb: The day Tang Xueying learned her fiancé had cheated was also the day her true identity came to light.
The beloved jewel of the Tang family turned out to be a fake heiress who had taken the place of the real one.
The spoiled, coquettish Tang Xueying instantly became a laughingstock, scorned by everyone.
In a single night, she was left homeless.
Meng Yunqi was the head of the Meng family, a top-tier Beijing dynasty. Rumor had it he was ruthless and decisive. He lived in seclusion, a heavenly moon far beyond anyone's reach.
With nowhere else to turn after two devastating blows, Tang Xueying took a desperate gamble and went to see her ex-fiancé's uncle, Meng Yunqi, the man in charge of the Meng family.
Tang Xueying looked ready to cry, playing on his sympathy. "Uncle, for the sake of our old family ties, could you help me?"
Looking down at her, the arrogant man asked casually, "How would you like me to help, Miss Tang?"
Tang Xueying thought she had a chance. She lifted her reddened eyes and looked pitifully at the fearsome man, cold as ice, but bit her lip, unsure how to ask.
Meng Yunqi's gaze darkened. He lifted her chin with a long, bony finger. "Speak."
Eyes blurred with tears, Tang Xueying gave a frightened little hiccup and choked out, "I-I have nothing left. I just want somewhere to stay."
Meng Yunqi's expression remained blank. "Marry me."
Tang Xueying: "Huh?"
Meng Yunqi's expression was inscrutable, and he said no more.
Tang Xueying decided to throw caution to the wind. She clutched at her last lifeline. "What do you need me to do, Uncle?"
Meng Yunqi: "Be good. Do as you're told."
Tang Xueying knew exactly where she stood. Meng Yunqi merely needed an obedient, decorative wife.
All of Beijing's elite were waiting to laugh at Tang Xueying. Instead, they heard the news that she was marrying Meng Yunqi.
Rumors flew. People said she knew how to use her beauty to get what she wanted, but it didn't matter how clever she was. It wouldn't be long before her true colors showed, and Meng Yunqi would throw her out.
After the wedding, Tang Xueying belatedly realized this wasn't the sham marriage they'd agreed to.
Once he gave in to temptation, all that talk of being detached from desire, abstinent, and proper went out the window.
Little scene:
Tang Xueying clutched her torn new dress, her eyes red. "Meng Yunqi, can we talk about something? Could you maybe not do it so often?"
The veins on the back of Meng Yunqi's hand stood out as he gently stroked her slender back. He spoke leisurely. "Xueying, would you like your own private jet and luxury yacht? And I could take you on a holiday to a ski resort in Switzerland..."
