[Next Up] Burning Obsession

[Showbiz x Wealthy Family/Marriage First, Love Later/Sweet with No Angst]

Qiu Zhi never imagined that Yan Hanchi would set his sights on her, and she couldn't understand how things had suddenly come to this.

The person he was supposed to get engaged to was her older sister, while the person she was supposed to marry for an alliance had already been decided: his older brother.

Not this. Not her marrying Yan Xiuchi.

They stirred up countless rumors, left a tangle of messy relationships in their wake, and forcefully made everyone bless this hastily assembled "newlywed couple."

She first met Yan Hanchi at a banquet hosted by the Yan family.

She'd of course heard the rumors about him.

Yan Xiuchi, the Yan family's third young master: reckless and unrestrained, ruthless in his methods, and owner of immeasurable wealth.

But none of that had anything to do with her. So when he stared at her and asked her name, she didn't sense anything amiss.

She realized Yan Hanchi's intentions three days after the banquet.

She went to the Yan family home to deliver something. As soon as she stepped inside, she heard a commotion. Before she could get any closer, someone grabbed her by the arm and dragged her into a room.

As she stood there, still shaken, a man's laughter rang in her ear. "How about marrying me?"

She looked up in shock.

He raised an eyebrow. "Then it's settled."

And just like that, they got married.
