Ying Yichen asked Song Qingzhi to watch a romance film with him. The story was calm and warm, not especially heartbreaking or moving, but Song Qingzhi suddenly began to cry beside him.
Ying Yichen anxiously wiped away her tears, but they kept welling up.
His gaze full of tenderness, he gently stroked the crown of her head and looked at her warmly. “Why are you so easily moved, baby?”
Song Qingzhi lowered her eyes and didn’t look at him. Her voice had a faintly nasal sound. “Because I’m kind.”
