Possessive neurosurgeon gong x gentle, detached, self-destructive journalist shou
[Shou's perspective]:
On a rainy night, Lin Ye's car broke down, leaving him stranded on a mountain road.
Someone tapped on his window.
A kind stranger, at last.
Except the kind stranger was his ex.
They had been broken up for seven years. His ex used to avoid him like the plague, but now he was tugging at him and saying, "Lin Ye, come home with me."
What the hell? Had he had a personality transplant?
This was an astonishing turn of events.
[Gong's perspective]
Ou Guangzhou was the one who first confessed, and in the end, he was also the one who ended things. Lin Ye had broken down in tears on the day they broke up.
But Ou Guangzhou never looked back.
Some obstacles are impossible to overcome in a lifetime.
Then, at thirty, someone told him that Lin Ye had died, in a foreign country six thousand kilometers away.
Before he died, Lin Ye had tried to contact him, but Ou Guangzhou had missed the call.
Later, Ou Guangzhou was reborn, back at the age of twenty-nine.
It was the seventh year since their breakup, and the final year of Lin Ye's life.
Tsk. What was this about obstacles being impossible to overcome in a lifetime? When he had another chance to meet a living Lin Ye, suddenly none of that mattered.
So he walked up to Lin Ye's car window. "Lin Ye, come home with me."
[Reading Guide]
1. They save each other. This is a story about forgiving yourself and never giving up on yourself, no matter what.
2. Each other's first love. They were deeply in love when they parted, and after the breakup, they both went a little crazy in their own ways.
3. The shou has severe psychological illness, with a tendency toward emotional detachment and suppression.
4. If the shou hadn't died in his previous life, the gong wouldn't have come back to him. In his previous life, the gong's attitude toward the shou was, "I can't stay by your side while you're alive, but after you die, I'll follow you for sure."
5. Includes hurt/comfort and family-related angst.
6. Though the shou is listed first, the perspectives are split roughly 40/60 between the shou and gong.
7. I'm still deciding whether to tell their story from childhood in an extra chapter or weave it into the main story as flashbacks. I'm leaning toward an extra chapter. If it appears in the main story, the chapters will be labeled PAST.
[May you live a long life]
[We fell in love. We fell in love again.]
The author is a relentless reviser and will go back and edit the story little by little.

Blurb:

At first he's quite tolerant, later he throws in the towel and walks away, not caring who the shou ends up with / movie star shou
Nine-year age gap
On the day Wei Fengmian wrapped filming, he had drinks and met a young man he found ridiculously appealing.
The guy was stunning, and everything about him was Wei Fengmian's type. He couldn't help sneaking a few extra glances.
A friend told him, "That's the eldest son of the Yun family, Yun Zhengyan."
Wei Fengmian choked on his drink and sobered up at once.
After all these years, Yun Zhengyan had grown up so much that Wei Fengmian hadn't even recognized him.
His friend asked, "What, got a crush?"
Wei Fengmian put a hand to his forehead. "Not a chance."
Yun Zhengyan still had to call him Uncle.
More importantly, after all these years, that kid still had a one-sided grudge against him and wouldn't even show his face.
Though when Yun Zhengyan was little, he used to cling to Wei Fengmian like crazy.
If Wei Fengmian was holding a dog, the boy would push the dog aside and climb into his arms himself.

I also have another cute little story coming up. Please add it to your favorites!
"I'll Beat You Up Right Now" Book ID: 3167198
Bad-tempered, scheming gong x flirtatious, stubborn, self-destructive shou.
The water running down his butt stung a little as he showered.
You Lele rubbed it pitifully, cursing that bastard Lu Jianzhi in his head!
He had it rough! He was furious but couldn't say a word! He'd been blinded by stupidity back then!
A few months ago, he and his troublemaking friends had made a bet that he could win over the school's aloof heartthrob, Lu Jianzhi.
He'd thought, well, he was bored anyway, and the guy was so hot that even if they only dated for a few days, it wouldn't be a bad deal.
Besides, he'd never chased a guy before. It would be something new and exciting! He loved new things.
And then... he finally won the guy over. Or rather, he finally scrubbed himself clean and delivered himself straight into the tiger's den.
So sad.
The gong is the school heartthrob, an aloof beauty.
The shou is a rich playboy, flirtatious, stubborn, and only interested in having fun. He's a useless little fool with plenty of flaws and nothing going for him but his face.

Is this the reason why Ou Guangzhou later became a doctor? 😭 😭 😭
In Hong Kong, there is a sense that if parents are going to quarrel, they will put their children in another room first 😂
Hateful! The author's sour writing is still as delicious as ever!
It must be very painful 😭, so much blood flowed out slowly for 7 hours.
Can!!!!!!
Now Doctor Ou is even more determined to see him through.
Pray that no one will get hurt
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
