Partners in Yin and Yang

His name is Xu Qiong, and he's a poor wage slave who graduated from a third-rate university. Life is hard, nothing ever goes his way, and his only girlfriend even broke up with him because he was broke. To escape poverty, he became a haunted-house cleaner. His job was to live in haunted houses until they felt lived-in, then hand them back to an agent or landlord. On his first night in a haunted house, Xu Qiong couldn't sleep a wink. He lit a cigarette and sat by the bed, pretending to be calm as the lights flickered and the furniture rocked back and forth. Then, just as a "Sadako" with bleeding eye sockets, a crooked head, twisted legs, and hands and feet on the floor crawled out of the bathroom and pressed a fingernail to Xu Qiong's throat, Xu Qiong finally dropped the act and screamed hysterically, "I make thirty thousand a month! I specialize in haunted houses! Let's work together and split everything fifty-fifty from now on! How about it?" Sadako stopped moving. A moment later, he got up off the floor and sat down beside Xu Qiong. Trembling, Xu Qiong offered the big shot a cigarette. The big shot puffed away thoughtfully for a while, then turned to Xu Qiong and asked, rather hesitantly, "How much did you say that job pays per month?" [Whether in the world of ghosts or the world of humans, the most terrifying creatures on earth are broke people.] This is the story of two broke guys cleaning haunted houses and braving the world together.
