Lu Dongzhi read a wuxia novel titled Slashing Through a Thousand Rivers and became hopelessly obsessed with its villainous leader, Xiao Zhuhen.
When she reached the ending and saw the villain get killed, she was furious. She slapped her pillow and sat bolt upright. Had she stayed up all night cultivating immortality just to read this? She hadn't even swallowed a mouthful of water before choking herself into the book.
After transmigrating into a book, she, Lu Dongzhi, was full of ambition, rubbing her hands together, and beginning to fall in love. She was determined to win over Xiao Zhuhen, that iceberg of a man who had been frozen for ages.
She trusted a fearless, unapologetic “real villain” far more than those hypocrites who were always preaching about honor among the jianghu.
But winning over this cabbage was easier said than done...
On a sea of red spider lilies, she worried that Xiao Zhuhen, blindfolded with white silk but walking as steadily as if on level ground, might fall. So, in a noble act of self-sacrifice, she offered him her hand to hold. But she was so afraid he might twist her arm off that she didn't dare take his hand. Lu Dongzhi only grabbed the edge of his sleeve. Toss!
So, even if you offered Lu Dongzhi three bowls of rice for dinner, she would never have guessed that after getting together with Xiao Zhuhen, what would wake her from a doze would be a kiss on the neck so mortifying it made her toes curl up in bed, enough to build a whole castle with.
That was after he accidentally brushed against her mouth ulcer once, making her half-awake self burst into tears and cry from the kiss. Only then did he start being especially careful and holding himself back.
Abs, a V-line, and strong enough to catch her one-handed when she jumped at him, yet he was secretly the sort of kissing fiend who read romance guides. From Lu Dongzhi's Love-Life Rants, Though She Loves It

Everyone is a chess piece. Without a thirst for revenge, what is there to hate?
He was a bloodthirsty demon whose name shook the martial world. Everyone mocked him for “countless killings” and insisted he must be executed, but had anyone ever asked him why he killed? Why he destroyed?
None of that mattered, though. Power, fame, and the hearts of others meant nothing to someone as cold and detached as him.

Again and again.
The Eight Great Sects attacked the Blood Sea Jade Palace. Xiao Zhuhen sealed Lu Dongzhi's acupoints and ordered Canglang to take her out of the secret chamber. Their foreheads pressed together, the usually composed man spoke in a hoarse voice. “Only killing can bring it to an end, but I want you to live.”
Clang! Unable to speak, Lu Dongzhi pulled back and slammed her head into his, tears streaming as she made a silly face. What was that supposed to mean? She didn't want that! She wanted everyone in the Jade Palace to live. She wanted to stand shoulder to shoulder with him and kill those hypocrites who were always preaching about honor among the jianghu!
How to Enjoy This Story
→ One-on-one romance, first love for both, a healing story. The heroine is a master of witty comebacks. Happy ending!
→ Sweet, satisfying, and heartwarming. There'll be several kinds of romance guides, appearing in different storylines. Unlocked so far: One Hundred and Ten Slaps to Tame a Dragon, The Tyrant Takes His Beloved by Force, and Trapped in the Chancellor's Boudoir.
→ This story is sometimes serious, sometimes silly, and sometimes full of the jianghu's pleasures, love, hatred, and vengeance.
→ Bonus mini-scenes will appear in the author's notes.
→ I'm a hopeless romantic! I love male leads who restrain themselves and follow the rules, go crazy over the heroine, but still hold back and never cross the line.
→ The male lead is direct, but also “calculating” in love. He's very good at it!
My next story will be A Straightforward Romance with Gojo. Please add it to your collection!
I'm Chitaozi Jiang, a middle-school girl whose family runs a Chinese restaurant. Since our ingredients had to be dried on the roof, I was always climbing up and down as a kid. I met my childhood friend when I climbed a ladder and fell into his family's courtyard.
Back when I was still in kindergarten, I made plans with my friends to sneak into that mysterious-looking courtyard at night and explore. But when we were spotted, my friends got scared and scattered, forgetting that I was still on the ladder, about to climb down. So I fell into his courtyard, where he caught me in midair with what I thought was some chuunibyou magic.
Wearing my chuunibyou eyepatch, I was spun around in the air by him like a duck roasting over a fire for a full ten minutes before he finally let me down.
With tears in my eyes like a fried egg, I was grateful but still annoyed when I saw his much fancier, full-bandage eyepatch. I shouted at him, “Don't get cocky! I'll be here again tomorrow, and I'll beat you. Now send me out just like you did before!”
I'd made a bold request without making myself sound pathetic. He gave me a disdainful smirk, and this time I was sent straight up into a spiral and out of there.
By middle school, I knew that Gojo Satoru couldn't do any chuunibyou magic, and neither could I. He'd only been playing around with that eyepatch back then. I'd always wanted to cut ties with him, but even though we didn't go to the same school, he just wouldn't leave me alone.
Once again, this guy who always showed up out of nowhere had me trapped on the way to the cafeteria to grab a tonkatsu.
I looked up at him in annoyance, only for Gojo Satoru to lean close and say, “Hey, Momoko-chan, want to go out with me?” I was so startled that I nearly shoved the chocolate stick in my hand up his nostril.

Help, the writing style is so embarrassing. Why has Jinjiang's level declined now?
Hahaha, your language skills are so strong, your vocabulary is rich, and your writing is brilliant.
"Zai Tan" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ Again
Spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers
The copywriting reminded me of the long-dead Sky Sword,?
