[Western Crossover] Gotham's Day of Fear

When she was eight, April went to an amusement park with her mother to celebrate a holiday. It was Christmas, and clowns were running wild through the park. After the roller coaster crashed to the ground with a deafening roar, everything around her fell silent. April huddled in her mother's arms as her mother still held her tight and protected her. She heard someone approaching, softly humming "Merry Christmas." Santa Claus never came for her. The clown carried her out and said in a delighted voice, "Look what I found!" There was a small handgun in her mother's arms, but April never got the chance to grab it. From that day on, every family torn apart by the clown became her responsibility. It was her fault. Even putting on the Batgirl suit and becoming a vigilante in Gotham couldn't ease her guilt, not even a little. #I should have sunk into Gotham's abyss, until that black silhouette pulled me back into the darkness by his side.# Theme: Justice
