She saw her body tossed carelessly into a mass grave, with no one to bury her. Then she saw Jiang Xun, her sworn enemy of many years, staying awake day and night as he launched a surprise attack and fought his way back to the capital from a thousand miles away. After wiping out the rebels, he held her body and wept uncontrollably.

So many people in the capital had claimed to love her, yet the one who came to collect her body in the end was her sworn enemy, the very person she'd been at odds with since childhood. She found it utterly unbelievable.

After waking from the dream, Yue Rong decided she would, begrudgingly, be a little nicer to her sworn enemy.

Should he give in to the urge to kill her, or accept the roast rabbit? Yan Jue narrowed his eyes and pondered.

A moment later, he lowered his blade. Never mind. He wouldn't kill her today.

Everyone in the General's Residence was dumbfounded. The third young master no longer resisted having people near him, or perhaps he simply no longer resisted having Shangguan Yue near him.

They stared wide-eyed as the cousin miss carefully bandaged the third young master's injured hand. He sat perfectly still, without a trace of impatience, and even let her tie the bandage into a bow, a butterfly-shaped bow?

A little note: The heroine is only temporarily a fool (she hasn't forgotten how to cook), and the hero is only temporarily mad (when he goes mad, he even attacks himself). They'll both get better.
