A True Idol Won't Be a Flash in the Pan [Showbiz]

[The story went off track. It's not about the entertainment industry; the focus is on the flower demon part. Buy with caution, thank you.]

Su Tan is a top idol and the poster boy for cool, handsome young men. He's gorgeous, and a great singer and dancer.

It's a shame that such a good-looking guy has no filter. He says whatever comes to mind, making people worry he'll get banned at any moment.

.

Su Tan works with Best Actor Mu Shi, and his fans are terrified he'll say something to offend Mu Shi. They worry themselves sick over it.

Mu Shi's fans think Su Tan is using Mu Shi to attract attention, and they tear him to shreds online.

Then the behind-the-scenes footage comes out. Mu Shi, who's always been aloof, treats Su Tan with the utmost care and never puts on airs. He even carries a little white flower that once appeared in Su Tan's room as tenderly as a treasure, taking it out to sunbathe. Most outrageous of all, during their lunch break, the two lie side by side on bamboo loungers on set, each reaching out a hand to hook their pinkies together.

The fans lose it. Su Tan responds, "It's basic etiquette."

The fans grit their teeth: ...Hooking your pinkies is basic etiquette?

.

Su Tan is a night-blooming cereus demon who had to come to the human world to make a living so he wouldn't bloom for just one night and vanish. He's naive about the ways of the world and believes hooking pinkies is just as much a matter of etiquette as flower demons touching leaves. He looks completely baffled. "Isn't it?"

Mu Shi, a peony demon who's spent countless years in the human world under different identities, smiles brilliantly. "Of course it is."

Su Tan, who has a vague feeling that something isn't right: ...?

A pure, guileless little night-blooming cereus bottom VS a stunning, dominant peony top with both beauty and talent (?)
