My Archrival and I Swapped Bodies, and We Got Bound to a Love Flower System

Zhou Jiming is the wastrel son of the loyal Dingbei Marquis, a flirt who never studies or applies himself.

He Qingyan is the legitimate son of the treacherous chief councilor, upright and stern, with a face as handsome as jade.

Their fathers are sworn political enemies, and the two young men are the most famous archenemies in the capital.

They wake up one morning to discover that they've switched bodies.

They've also become bound to a Loveflower System. Every fifteen days, they have to make skin contact, or they'll be punished.

Zhou Jiming: "...I'd rather die. There's no way I'm going to..."

He Qingyan: "This must be a conspiracy. Brother Zhou, though I disliked you before, we have to cooperate now." All the while, he secretly schemes, the corner of his handsome, elegant mouth curling into a smile.

Once every fifteen days, twenty-four times a year. By any calculation, it's a good deal.

Gradually, Zhou Jiming realizes something is off. "Are you secretly in love with me?"

"Not at all. You're imagining things. I'm only kissing you, hugging you... touching you... for the mission."

The roguishly handsome Zhou Jiming blushes all the way to his neck. "Shut up!"

+ Flawed characters, each with their own shortcomings. Both are inexperienced. Enemies to lovers. A scheming, self-destructive, ambitious hypocrite of a top (He Qingyan) x a seemingly lazy, carefree bottom who actually has a sincere, sunny disposition (Zhou Jiming). He Qingyan is the top and Zhou Jiming is the bottom, so don't get them mixed up.

+ No grand message, just a little love story about young men.

+ Sweet and satisfying romance. Mystery-solving and political intrigue serve as background elements, entirely in service of the romance. Set in a completely fictional world with no connection to history. It's all made up for fun.

+ I'd really like to write this well, but I haven't written in so long that I'm rusty. Don't set your expectations too high. I'll do my best, but who knows how it will turn out.

Theme: Dawn breaks in the east, and the rivers run clear and the seas are calm.
