[One Piece] Not a Charlatan, but a Prophet

The first time Trafalgar D. Water Law saw Portgas D. An, he used ROOM on her. But An seemed to have foreseen it, stepping out of range before his ability could take effect. Law frowned, his sword Kikoku already half drawn. "Hey, blind girl, who are you?" An smoothed her tousled blond hair, mussed by her sudden movement, and smiled as she held her shepherd's crook. "Fuzzy hat, can't you even thank your savior?" The second time Trafalgar D. Water Law saw Portgas D. An, he used ROOM on her again. This time, An didn't dodge, and was caught in the ROOM head-on. Law watched An lean against the wall, coughing up blood, while tossing a sphere containing a little black liquid up and down in his hand. He had created it with his ability. "Hey, blind girl, join my crew." An endured the pain of her broken ribs and spat the blood from her mouth. She looked at Law, so relaxed it made her want to punch him, and complained, "Fuzzy hat, if you're going to invite me aboard, you could at least show a little sincerity, right?" Law chuckled and lifted her chin with the end of his nodachi. "Sincerity? How about this?" He lightly moved his fingers, and An's broken foot separated from her body. He attached a wooden block to her leg to take the place of her broken foot. An stared at Law, who tossed her broken foot together with the sphere of black liquid. A vein bulged on her forehead. With a dark expression, she drew a blade from her shepherd's crook. "Draw your sword, Fuzzy Hat! I challenge you to a duel!"

***The heroine is Portgas D. An, Ace's twin sister. She was born disabled and blind, but perfectly inherited her father Gol D. Roger's Observation Haki, the Voice of All Things. Rayleigh and Shakky lovingly raised her on the Sabaody Archipelago, and she is the true successor to Rayleigh's swordsmanship and Shakky's medical skills. The hero is Trafalgar Law.***

Reader's guide: OOC warning. Law is really hard to write, sob. There's a mountain of original details, so please don't flame me if you don't like them. Many original characters and much of the plot are original, so in a sense you can read this as an original story set in the One Piece world. All medical knowledge is made up or taken from Baidu Encyclopedia. I know nothing about medicine, so there are definitely going to be mistakes.
