Seizing the World [Transmigration]

[Gentle, resilient modern-day bottom x stoic, feigning-idiocy prince top] Synopsis: The palace gates were breached. Fire, swords, and blood raced all the way to Wen Cheng's bedside. Wen Cheng, a modern-day man, slowly wakes up in the turbulent, war-torn Dayan Dynasty, leaving behind a peaceful modern world. In the chaos of his escape, he joins forces with Chu Yu, a prince pretending to be an idiot in a dilapidated palace. Rebel troops search the capital, where they suffer humiliation. Bandits roam the countryside, hot on their trail. The provinces are strewn with corpses, and anguished cries fill the air... Like drifting duckweed in a time of chaos, the two young men lean on each other as they search desperately for a place to call home. When Wen Cheng throws himself in front of Chu Yu without hesitation, the crimson droplets left by the blade pierce Chu Yu's eyes, and the heart that has been poisoned by life in the palace, a place like hell. This world is too filthy. Chu Yu resolves to seize a better one for Wen Cheng. He will take Wen Cheng home. Heaven and earth cannot bear the hearts of countless devoted souls. You alone are my faith for a hundred years. Important notes: 1. The dynasty is fictional, with plenty of invented details. 2. The bottom dotes on the top in the early chapters. Expect a major secret identity reveal. 3. This is my first historical novel. I hope you'll support it! A few last things: Taking the World will be a very, very long novel with few familiar tropes and no elaborate character archetypes. It's a story about a modern-day nobody and a nobody pretending to be an idiot, growing stronger together. I'll do my best. Theme: Two young men support each other, grow together, and ultimately rise above everyone else.
