"True Love" is a romance set in the 1970s. It tells the story of Dong Licheng, a poor peasant, and Chu Yan, the daughter of a landlord. They fall in love, are forced apart, and finally overcome a series of hardships to live happily together.
Who is Lu Manman?
She is the bride the Dong family picked for Dong Licheng, the third party who ruins someone else's relationship, a vicious female supporting character in both thought and deed, and the biggest obstacle on Dong Licheng and Chu Yan's path to love.
As a female supporting character in a book, Lu Manman's fate is naturally tragic. Dong Licheng exposes her scheme, and she leaves the Dong family in disgrace with two children whose fathers are unknown. In the end, she dies a miserable death on a rainy night.
After reading the synopsis, Lu Manman was so furious she couldn't catch her breath and died in her hospital bed.
When she woke up, she discovered she had returned to the past. The Dong family had only just started considering a matchmaking arrangement, and her family hadn't yet agreed to a meeting.
Lu Manman: Great! Dong Lele said I was the unreasonable third party who got in the way of her parents' love. Fine, I'm done. Dong Licheng and Chu Yan can go be in love with each other.
After being reborn, Lu Manman gained two incredible golden fingers. She used them to buy low and sell high. Well, to run a buying-and-selling business. From then on, fresh fruit in her left hand, all kinds of snacks in her right, and steamed buns made from fine flour and a four-dish, one-soup meal with meat and eggs on the table in front of her. Life couldn't be more comfortable.
As for Dong Licheng and Chu Yan?
Oh, they're out in the fields right now, being "in love" while working for her.
One-line summary: A vicious female supporting character is reborn and leads everyone to prosperity and the pinnacle of life.

My next story, "The Idle Life of a Wealthy Family's Female Supporting Character," will probably launch in July. Please add it to your reading list!
Qing Ning was born into a distinguished family. In her previous life, she was a famous guardian goddess in the interstellar world. Her most famous feat was charging alone into a nest of demon beasts and returning unharmed. Just hearing her name could stop a child from crying at night, and demon beasts would tremble in fear.
When she woke up, she discovered she had transmigrated into a wealthy-family romance novel she'd read recently out of boredom, becoming the real daughter and female supporting character who met a tragic end.
Sixteen years ago, the Jiang family lost their newborn daughter in an accident. Sixteen years later, they brought two girls home. One was her, the Jiang family's real daughter. The other was Jiang Siling, who had lived with her in the same orphanage.
Qing Ning was aloof and cool, giving off an air that warned strangers to stay away. Jiang Siling was her opposite: gentle, generous, and considerate.
The wealthy social circle was small, and many people said Jiang Siling was the Jiang family's real daughter, while Qing Ning was a shameless adopted girl who clung to the Jiang family. Even Gao Yang, the son of the Gao family, an old friend of the Jiangs and Qing Ning's childhood betrothed, hovered around Jiang Siling. This only made the rumors that Jiang Siling was the real heiress seem more convincing.
Whenever this happened, Jiang Siling would lower her head with a shy smile and softly say, "No, my mom and dad are my adoptive parents. They've always been so good to me," and things like that. Then she would glance at Qing Ning, looking embarrassed, her eyes full of guilt.
Qing Ning scoffed. If Jiang Siling wanted to put on a show, let her. Qing Ning knew what was really going on, and that was enough. When the truth came out in the end, she wouldn't be the one embarrassed.
It wasn't until she returned to the Jiang family that Qing Ning realized how one-sided and ridiculous the book's version of events was.
For instance, the book said that when the two girls arrived at the Jiang home, Mrs. Jiang bought them lots of clothes and shoes. She clearly preferred the sweet and adorable Jiang Siling, giving her the latest fashionable designer labels.
In reality, Jiang Siling's clothes were indeed designer brands, but only popular labels in China. Qing Ning's own clothes looked plain, but they were designs Mrs. Jiang had created herself. More than a decade ago, Mrs. Jiang had already been an internationally renowned fashion designer, charging at least a million for each custom design.
Another example: the Jiang family covered all of Jiang Siling's living expenses and gave her 20,000 yuan in pocket money each month, while Qing Ning got nothing.
In reality, the Jiang family had opened a bank account for Qing Ning the moment she was born. Every year, they deposited part of the commune's dividends into it, and hadn't missed a year in sixteen years. What's more, the moment she returned to the Jiang family, every working member of the family gave her an additional bank card with a supplementary card she could use without limit.
Qing Ning wasn't short of money at all, and she certainly didn't need that monthly allowance of 20,000 yuan.
And what about that so-called fiance?
Oh, he really was interested in Jiang Siling, but Qing Ning didn't care. What use did she have for a weakling who couldn't lift a finger or carry a load? Wasn't it better if Jiang Siling liked taking out the trash?
Someone silently rolled up his sleeves, showing off his strong arms. "Ningning, what do you think of my build? My family's companies span every industry around the world, and our annual profits start at a hundred million. We don't need the Jiang family to save us, either."

Theme: A reborn female supporting character leads everyone to prosperity
Ah, it's better not to have such an uncle. Perhaps as a soldier, he thinks that the regiment leader has given a lot, and he doesn't want anyone to take advantage of the regiment leader's marriage. But has he ever thought about his niece? He is really an uncle. Why doesn't he marry his daughter or his wife's niece or something?
My aunt's name is the same as my sister-in-law's, both are called Lu Wenxue. . . .
I said I bought a bicycle before, but only the cents were left. Now I have to take care of so many people's meals, so I really don't have to worry about people being suspicious! He is so cautious at the moment, but he is so generous when he is a holy father, and the whole family is the same. Really big bug
My aunt and my sister-in-law have the same name Please change it, madam (;??????`) It looks weird
The male protagonist has so few scenes, he's just like a background wall. It's been so many chapters and he hasn't appeared yet.
Look, this is the husband she said she dared not talk about the second husband. It's disgusting.
Yep, the quota is yours to give to whoever you want, no matter if they are happy or not, why should they be picky? The boss and his wife deserve it
Didn't he say that he was snatched away by Chu Ming's father?
I don't like Lu Shun as my son and I don't like his wife, so why can't I give him a warning like my sister before getting married?
I ordered them all, why can't I read the last two chapters?
