Wen Chi loves Li Sichen, and will love him until death.
After successfully forcing him to marry her, she gets the man she wanted and is certain he will fall in love with her.
But all her blazing love earns her is his cold reply: "You might as well dream."
Less than six months after their wedding, Wen Chi has become the biggest laughingstock of Qingcheng’s upper class.
A doomed star is a doomed star, bringing misfortune to everyone, herself included. So what if she became Mrs. Li? When her life hung in the balance, Li Sichen still chose his beloved first love without hesitation, abandoning her to fend for herself.
At last, she is willing to accept reality. She really was dreaming. Li Sichen would never fall in love with her. She was nothing but a substitute.
*
After recovering from her illness, Wen Chi leaves behind a divorce agreement and walks away.
Then one day, she wakes up to find she can’t move her hands. When she looks up, she sees Li Sichen.
The man sits on the sofa with his long legs crossed. He lowers the cigarette from his lips and slowly exhales a ring of smoke. There is not a trace of indulgence in his eyes. "Are you running away again, Mrs. Li?"
Hundreds of love letters rain down around her. Among them, an old photo sealed in plastic stands out.
In the photo, Wen Chi is embracing a man intimately, and his profile looks almost exactly like Li Sichen.
The next moment, the man cruelly grips her chin and forces her face up. He stares at her, his voice icy and cutting: "Who gave you the nerve to treat me like a substitute, hmm?"
"Didn't you want to be Mrs. Li for the rest of your life? Then be a good one."
Later, when Li Sichen has lost Wen Chi for good, he finally understands:
There was never anyone else. He had simply forgotten that he once loved her deeply.
-Everyone knew Wen Chi was the woman he loved but could never have.
-Love is a whirlpool. From beginning to end, I was the only one who knowingly let myself drown in it.
Notes:
1. Both leads are each other's first and only. The male lead loves only the female lead from beginning to end.
2. Seven-year age gap, amnesia, rekindled romance, and a groveling husband arc.
3. Neither lead is perfect. Expect melodrama and heartbreak, with the male lead suffering for a long time. Read with caution if that's not for you.
4. Heavily revised. The definitive version is only on Jinjiang.

Does the author also write the story of Wen Zhan and Cheng Xiu? Want to see
It's so appealing to me. The best age difference is my favorite style. Hehe~ Maybe I've watched too many hot-blooded domineering presidents and hot little white rabbits before, but now I especially like this kind of chasing my wife in the crematorium. The boss turns around and licks the dog~ He rubs his hands, looking forward to a big explosion in the next new article. I'm lazy and like to read in one go. Chasing each chapter is killing me.
The author's writing style is really good, and the characters he writes are brilliant. I also hope that the author can have a follow-up to Cheng Xiu and Wen Zhan.
It's really not a crematorium anymore. It feels like an urn.
√One "must" is a huge thorn in the side of the author~
Read it in one sitting! It's so cool!!!
I don't think it's his fault that the second brother didn't remember when he was sixteen. After all, no one would remember so clearly what he had done to help others.
Every story is so touching, even though I skipped reading it
I'm so moved, woo woo woo Goodbye Li Sichen Wen Chi
Finished spreading flowers! (I forgot to comment after watching it last night haha
