My Childhood Friend, a Top-Tier Star, and I Faked a Relationship Until It Became Real

Lu Xiao is the leader and center of CH.ain, a top-tier boy band, and has returned from studying abroad.

He comes from a good family and is handsome. He’s incredibly cold in public. Even though the group never promotes its pairings, tons of fans are still passionately shipping him with his bandmates.

Then Lu Xiao appeared on a murder-mystery variety show, where he guest-starred as an NPC playing the mastermind behind the scenes.

People noticed that every day, Lu Xiao and Song Chucheng, another NPC and an obscure singer, were all over each other, so close they might as well be wearing the same pants.

When the director told them to hug, they hugged. When he told them to hold hands, they did. Even a glance between them looked suggestive.

They even came out of the same little dark room. No one knew what they’d been doing, but Song Chucheng emerged with a flushed face and disheveled clothes.

Lu Xiao’s solo fans were stunned, while the CP fans went wild.

His manager was so furious that blisters flared on his lips. He called and said, “That’s enough, that’s enough! You two have lost control of your CP fans! I told you to promote the pairing, not go all in until you die!”

Lu Xiao said irritably, “Tsk, I’m already holding back.”

He tipped up the chin of the person before him and used his thumb to wipe the moisture from the corner of his lips. “Don’t believe me? Ask Chucheng.”

.

Song Chucheng and Lu Xiao had been friends for over ten years.

When they were young, Song Chucheng was the illegitimate son the Song family brought home from outside. He was bullied from childhood, unwanted and neglected. Only Lu Xiao stood up for him.

Back then, Lu Xiao was the Lu family’s only young master, doted on by everyone. He wouldn’t tolerate even a speck of dust in his eyes, yet he always treated Song Chucheng with wholehearted kindness.

One day, Song Chucheng, newly aware of his sexuality, suddenly realized he might have feelings for his good friend.

He didn’t want to turn Lu Xiao gay, so he planned to slowly distance himself. But he never expected to drive Lu Xiao to desperation.

Seeing Song Chucheng chatting and laughing with someone else, Lu Xiao’s jealousy boiled over.

“Are other men really that great?”

Backstage at a banquet, Lu Xiao cornered him in a room and said, “Since you like men, why not consider me? I’m well-endowed and good in bed.”

Song Chucheng: ... Could you have some shame?

From childhood to adulthood, Lu Xiao had always considered Song Chucheng his.

Even if he couldn’t finish him, he’d still take him home.
