Meow, I'm Just a Little Useless Thing

Blurb:

Mian Mian is a Ragdoll-and-domestic-shorthair mix, but unlike ordinary cats, he's a beautiful little cat who can understand human speech.

Then one day, he transmigrates into the entertainment industry as a rookie actor named Lian Zhi, who died suddenly after staying up all night.

Mian Mian: Σ(っ°Д°;)っ

There are talent-driven actors and hardworking actors in showbiz. Top-tier stars are both talented and hardworking.

Everyone knows that the Best Actor Lu Shiyan isn't just exceptionally good-looking. He's also a bona fide workaholic, able to work twenty-five hours a day. He's won countless awards for his work and is a work-crazed man who treats his career like a lover. Nobody in showbiz works harder than Lu Shiyan.

But right as his career is taking off, Lu Shiyan is suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness. He has no more than two years to live.

After taking a week to collect himself, Lu Shiyan accepts it. But he decides to find a hardworking newcomer to train and pass his workaholic legacy on to.

After Mian Mian arrives, the original owner has just become Lu Shiyan's sole apprentice.

The little cat just wants to laze around, sunbathe, sleep, and hit on pretty female cats.

Lu Shiyan's original plan for his apprentice: two months of lessons, three months to finish a TV drama, five months to finish a movie, and an international film festival within a year.

What his apprentice actually does: sleeps through class, lies around playing a comatose patient in the TV drama, and hits on stray female cats on set.

Lu Shiyan: ...I think my illness just got worse.

Mian Mian: Master, I did my best meow >_<

Then, after a variety show, Lian Zhi becomes a huge hit thanks to his incredible shipping appeal, and one fan edit after another pairs him up with different people.

Who could resist a soft, cuddly little cat?

There were already rumors that Lian Zhi and the Best Actor had an ambiguous relationship. Now everyone says Lu Shiyan is a thing of the past, and Mian Mian belongs to everyone.

Lu Shiyan: ? Once I'm cured, I'll work you all to death :)

Just then, a flood of negative posts appears online, claiming Lian Zhi can only be a pretty face.

Lu Shiyan, who has always kept people at arm's length, posts a domineering message: "Lian Zhi is mine. If you have a problem, come straight to me."

Viewers: Holy crap.

Mian Mian: Wow, I get to be protected by my master again today.
