[Blurb]

After an accident, Bai Tao “transmigrates” five years into the future.

She discovers she’s married to her aloof nemesis, Pei Shi!

She searches her phone and finds news stories about their loving relationship everywhere

“Pei Shi, head of the Pei family, begs for love. After thirty rejections, he finally wins his beauty’s heart.”

“Pei Shi grows peach trees himself, all to make his beloved wife smile.”

“Pei Shi’s five-year secret crush and years of pursuit finally pay off.”

…

That night, Bai Tao bravely reads every story online, moved to tears.

Who could have imagined that Pei Shi, the untouchable heartthrob, had secretly loved her to the point of madness?

Thinking about Pei Shi’s family, his looks, his physique, and his profound love for her,

Bai Tao decides to let bygones be bygones and build a life with him.

But…

Why does Pei Shi look so strange whenever she gazes at him affectionately?

Six months later, Bai Tao finally learns why

First, she and Pei Shi are married by contract and have no feelings for each other.

Second, all those dramatic posts about Pei Shi repeatedly banging his head against a wall for her were press releases she herself had arranged, because she couldn’t bear to lose face.

Third, their contract marriage has expired, so it’s time to divorce.

She’d miscalculated and turned the whole thing into a farce.

Furious, Bai Tao goes to Pei Shi to demand a divorce, only to be coldly refused.

“Pei Shi, are you even a man? If you’ve got the guts, divorce me!”

Pei Shi replies mildly, “You should know better than anyone whether I’m a man. And as for having the guts, of course I do.” He glances at Bai Tao’s slightly rounded belly. “They’re right there, aren’t they?”

#Pei Shi is trash, devious and cunning, he’s ruined my youth#

A seemingly sweet but secretly scheming, aloof young master x a dramatic little schemer with an overactive imagination
