A Visitor from the Yellow Springs

The not-so-serious blurb: Wei Qingrong died, and the whole country was soon buzzing with rumors about Prince Duan and two women. As a lonely ghost, Wei Qingrong heard all kinds of versions of the love story in teahouses and alleyways. She decided she must have been the wicked supporting female character who kept the protagonists apart, and couldn't help feeling miserable. She was already dead, yet Song Chenxi and her moonlight still came to torment her. Fine, then she'd go torment them, too! On a dark and windy night, she marched into Prince Duan's residence with great bravado, then scrambled back out in terror. Good heavens, Prince Duan was a pervert who slept with corpses every night.

The serious blurb: Wei Qingrong loved Song Chenxi. To protect her secret, she volunteered to marry into Prince Duan's household, helping her dodge hidden arrows and overcome one crisis after another. But Wei Qingrong knew Song Chenxi didn't love her. She only clearly realized how little she mattered when she was on her deathbed. The man returned victorious from the battlefield, went straight to see his moonlight, and never got the chance to see her one last time.

"Princess Consort, is there anything you'd like to say to Prince Duan? This servant can pass it on."

"Nothing to say." Whatever there had been between them was long since settled.

P.S. This story continues my usual style: sweet and angsty, but with more sweetness and fewer knives than my previous works. Hahaha, the ending will definitely be HAPPY.
