The Horror Game System Wants to Retire [Infinite]

Wu Wei inherited his uncle's business.

The inheritance came with a whole host of legendary gods and ghosts living on the property.

How was this inheriting a business? It was more like taking on a bunch of ancestors!

To keep his ancestors fed, Wu Wei was tricked into signing a management contract. A few days later, he discovered that "management" meant using his land and his ghostly ancestors to bring people in and put them through terrifying supernatural survival games.

Wu Wei snapped. "Get lost!"

The other party replied, "The contract is final and cannot be canceled."

Wu Wei said, "Then I'll run the System myself."

According to the contract, it could only be terminated if his side won the final victory.

To reach that goal as soon as possible, Wu Wei worked diligently from dawn till late at night.

Game upgrades, scenario design, NPC staff contracts and management, and a mountain of other headaches all left Wu Wei losing his hair.

Wu Wei, who never went a day without wanting to retire: Heh.

A terrifyingly powerful player showed up in the game, even more sinister than the game bosses. Everywhere he went, nothing was left standing, and every boss was bullied until they cried for their mothers.

To save his own game scenarios, Wu Wei entered the game under an alternate account.

By day, he was terrified alongside the players, whimpering three times in a row. Weak, pitiful, and helpless.

At night, he stayed up late, gathering all the monsters for overtime meetings to discuss how to get the bug out of the game.

Two jobs at once. His life was fractured, and absolutely miserable.

Tai Hanli was certain he was being targeted in the game.

An assassin charged at him. He was about to counterattack when someone rushed in, blocking an attack he could have dodged, then shoved him right into the assassin's blade.

A monster attacked. He instinctively dodged, but someone dropped from above to shield him from its tentacles, tripped halfway through, and kicked the monster's highly toxic, instantly fatal tail spike straight toward his face.

Tai Hanli: ...

P.S.:

1. I'm not sure what the potential trigger warnings are yet, so I'll make a section for them later.

2. A management-focused story, with competitions and horror escape-game plots.

3. Couple: Wu Wei and Tai Hanli. The owner of a game company (game designer and operations manager) and the top player in the game (an emotionless expert at demolishing game scenarios). Both strong, sweet, and no angst in the central romance.
