The Disabled Tycoon's Beloved, Fragile Darling

At the start of their second year of high school, a disabled boy transferred into the class.

He sat in a wheelchair, but his eyes shone as brightly as the stars and sea.

Wen Xi secretly fell in love with him, but soon realized that he barely interacted with anyone. He was taciturn and lonely, like a whale stranded on an island.

So she racked her brains, quietly slipping him confession cards cut from cookie boxes, organizing his class notes, knitting him a scarf, making him cookies, and more...

Even though she did all of it anonymously, Wen Xi was happy.

Until graduation at the end of senior year.

Wen Xi worked up the courage to confess, only to stumble upon someone else's confession and discover that another girl had taken credit for everything she had done over the past two years.

Unable to stand it, Wen Xi jumped in. But not only did she fail to explain herself, she also saw the boy's cold eyes, devoid of warmth.

For the first time in her life, she fled in a panic.

Wen Xi was hired by a company while interning at university.

On her first day at work, she fumbled with a cup of coffee and spilled it on the newly appointed company president's clothes.

The man loosened his collar with pale fingers and raised an eyebrow. "You got yourself into trouble this time. Are you going to run away again?"

Jiang Chen once asked her why she had liked him back when he was in a wheelchair.

Wen Xi smiled but didn't answer.

The summer before the start of her second year of high school, her violent father had beaten her badly.

At the time, she thought, So this is all life will ever be.

That was until she saw the newly transferred Jiang Chen.

# Life may be dark, but I'll carry the burden for you and keep moving forward.

# A story about the leads saving each other.

# She pursues him at first, then he chases her and pays dearly for it.

Who told Brother Chen to be so mean to the adorable Xi Xi? :)
