The Ultimate Collector

Demon King: Looks like another new hero has shown up to challenge me... I need to buy three more sets of gear! And weapons, too! One set to wear, one for backup, and one to look at! Minion A: Your Majesty! Those heroes can't even get through your defenses. You really don't need all that! Also... Your Majesty, please don't use divine weapons on ordinary soldiers!!! Demon King: No, I think I need them! Minion A: Your Majesty! Demon King: The price of herbs went up again today... Minion B: Your Majesty! Stay calm! You've already stockpiled over five thousand herbs. We'll never use them all!!! Demon King: No way! Buy, buy, buy! I'm going to stockpile ten thousand herbs! Don't stop me!!! Minion B: Your Majesty!! This is the story of a Demon King who is one of the strongest beings around, yet loves stockpiling all kinds of supplies! It's like playing all those games: I may not need the potions or gear, but I still have to fill a whole warehouse with them! I suppose this will be a growth story? Not the kind where he's already the Demon King from the start. It's a feel-good power fantasy, because things are already broken from the start. The setting is a world of magic, with slimes, goblins, dragons, and demons. The title is tentative, but the blurb probably won't change. Preorders opened October 6, 2019. I made the cover myself, and I drew the castle, too. Theme: Undecided
