The Interstellar Train

Deep in the universe, a train arrives amid the starlight of the Milky Way. Official blurb: Years later, as she looked back on the past, the train conductor sat in the cockpit, gazing out at the universe with a weathered expression. "Once, all I wanted was to be an ordinary train operator. I never thought..." "Never thought you'd turn into a total goofball? And what do you mean, 'once'? That was only the year before last." The assistant conductor stared at the girl, who was acting all profound but was really just a goofball, her face utterly expressionless. Sure, following her took us through a black hole, into uninhabited territory, and into friendly encounters with demi-humans. We even blew up mechs and took on spaceships, but I regret everything. The assistant conductor fell silent as they watched the train car full of oddballs setting off fireworks inside. Please note: 1. This is a science fiction setting with mechs and supernatural abilities. 2. The main plot is set: the train conductor pilots the Galactic Train through the universe with a train car full of tourists, getting into all sorts of adventures. 3. A long story, with everyday life and no angst. That'll do for the blurb for now. You can probably tell what the story's style is like from this, haha. I'll probably revise the title and blurb later.
