One day, a spaceship crossed the starry sea and arrived just outside Earth. As the superheroes who spotted the massive vessel went on alert...
"All right, all right, tourists on the interstellar tour, line up and don't wander off. We're landing on Earth now."
The superheroes stared at the tour leader waving a flag: ?
Seeing Superman approach warily, the tour leader introduced him with a blank expression. "The person before us is Krypton's sole survivor. He's still a child, so everyone, look at him with friendly, kind eyes and try not to scare the poor thing." Then she forced a stiff, awkward smile onto her face.
"So that's the last child of Krypton..." The alien tourists, hailing from all kinds of planets and sporting all kinds of appearances, followed the tour leader's instructions and looked at Superman with warm, kindly eyes, like he was a poor little animal. One by one, they put on stiff, awkward smiles.
Kal-El, the weak, helpless Kryptonian orphan, the poor kid, Superman, stared at the pile of unsettlingly friendly smiles: ??
The tour group made its way to X Academy.
"Tourists, this is the home of Earth's unique species, the mutants. They've endured endless discrimination on Earth, so let's look at them kindly and get ready to bring them aboard... Oh, I said too much." The blank-faced tour leader calmly said something shocking.
"But never mind that. Come on, let's smile kindly!" The tour leader once again took the lead, forcing that unsettlingly friendly smile.
The tourists in the group smiled along obligingly.
The mutants, who had just found a crowd of aliens appearing silently inside their school, all staring at them with friendly smiles and kind eyes: You really don't have to go that far...
Important notes you must read:
1. There is no angst in this story. It's a lighthearted slice-of-life story, as you can tell from the blurb~ The pairing is undecided, and it'd be best not to ship anyone (see the theme).
2. This story lets ordinary people in the superhero world see, from a different perspective, what a wonderful thing it is to have superheroes.
3. The protagonist comes from a remote planet and only wants to travel, not study, so they don't know a lot of basic interstellar knowledge. They only skim the information about each planet, so they often misremember and confuse things.
(Weak Kryptonians, friendly purple Thanos, simple Gotham Village, hospitable Apokolips.)
4. The protagonist is very powerful, and their ship is full of equally powerful people who share their interests, so they can roam freely around the universe.
5. You might not believe this, but I came up with this idea while watching Doraemon, hahaha! Blue Cat is the best! I've also started posting a story with a similar style next door. It's about a tour group too, but they're original characters traveling by train. If you're interested, please add it to your favorites~
I drew all the cover art myself~ Please don't use it without permission~
