[Prologue]
Do not
sing before my grave
or weep
Bury me on a mountaintop
Let me sleep in silence within silence
No more clamor so lonely
A Shanlan fanfic about Shan Guiyao, set during the events of the first six seasons of Shanlan.
I've been regularly updating my Shanlan anime fanfics lately. So far, they're all short stories. Whether I'll write a long fanfic is still undecided. These stories aren't sweet, really, they're not sweet. There might be a little sweetness, but in the end I'll always hand you a knife. Comments and corrections are welcome.
P.S. I'm a student, so whether I update depends on how heavy my schoolwork is. I promise not to leave the short stories hanging for too long, and I'll try to finish them this week.
P.P.S. Here are three short fanfics to start with. I'll be focusing on Shanlan anime fanfiction for a while. If there's a character you'd like to read about, leave me a comment. If I have time, I'll write it. That's it.
[Shanlan] Broken Fragments - Memories of the End Times: A fanfic about Uncle Yao, sort of a pairing, Yun Yao.
[Shanlan] Wind Dances, Plum Blossoms, Do Not Forget: A Dulong x Bi Ting fanfic. The pairing is unusual and barely noticeable, so you could call it a story with no pairing, just friendship. What it is depends on your imagination.
[Shanlan] Who Rules the Falling Flowers in the Wind: A Wu Ma x Li Fei fanfic with a clear pairing. There's a little sweetness at first, but in the end, I'll hand you a knife.
Theme: In the name of Shanlan, protect all living beings.
I think Xia Lan's battle against Qiong Qi must be a disastrous defeat or victory to be consistent with the facts. The demise of Qiong Qi in the original work is a bit dramatic, too fast and too tight. I really felt the power of the protagonist's aura. Several children who had just become Xialan were able to destroy enemies that had existed for hundreds of years (five defeats + some seven souls). Except for the main character and the palace that Yu Fudo belongs to, the descriptions of the other palaces were passed easily in that conference without enough tension. I really can't even remember Dulong, a character who had a small plot that was overly dramatic.
The romance of going to the guillotine together... Is it the most beautiful moment?
