[A hilarious, heartwarming winter romance. Be sure to read the guide before you start.]
[My new novel, Backed by a Powerful Patron, I Crush the Scumbag [Rebirth], is now available. Add it to your collection!]
Recently, Jian Li read a novel whose scheming, fake-sweet supporting actress had the same name as her. The character used all sorts of tricks to act helpless and sabotage the heroine's relationship with the hero. In the end, her own schemes dragged her family down with her, and she ended up homeless.
Jian Li scoffed. She was an ambitious young woman of the modern age. How could she possibly be the supporting actress in an old-fashioned domineering CEO novel? She promptly tossed the book aside.
Then the plot started coming true.
In a panic, Jian Li dug the novel back out. After thinking it over carefully, she decided to get the hero and heroine together, ditch her scheming persona, and escape the novel's curse.
The novel opens in September, when the hero, a specially appointed university professor, teaches a class of freshmen.
Following the plot, Jian Li changed into student clothes and slipped into the classroom.
On the first day, she got the hero's contact information.
On the second, she went to his company and successfully met the heroine.
On the third, she began making plans to create opportunities for the hero and heroine...
But the hero and heroine refused to follow the script.
Exhausted, Jian Li kept trying and wondering where she'd gone wrong.
Then one day, she found herself forced to sit on the hero's office desk. She looked up to find his smiling face close at hand, his dark eyes deep and dangerous.
"Trying to push me off on someone else again?"
Jian Li: ???
#What are you talking about? I don't understand. Can you let go of me first?#
#No, don't come any closer, male lead! You're supposed to love the heroine, not me, the scheming supporting actress!#

Reader's Guide:
1. The leads are each other's one and only, with no prior relationships.
2. There is a seven-year age gap between the leads.
3. The heroine has graduated, so there is no teacher-student relationship.
4. This is a lighthearted, escapist story. The heroine isn't very smart, and the leads are ordinary people with the added status of being protagonists. They're not perfect, and the author is just an ordinary, insignificant nobody. If it's not for you, close the page, and please don't flame me.
5. The story is set in a semi-fictional world. The plot is meant to entertain, so please don't overthink the logic. It's exhausting to respond to all those comments!

Blurb:
1.
Tong Nian takes a part-time job at a bar in place of his injured roommate and falls in love at first sight with the bar's owner, Qian Shiyin.
That night, he makes a deal with his roommate.
His roommate looks baffled. "You want me to give you the job?"
Tong Nian calmly offers a tempting deal: "I'll do the work, and you can keep all the pay."
His roommate: "Deal!"
2.
Tong Nian has an older sister. They've been bickering since childhood.
When he learns that she and Qian Shiyin are best friends, he invents a pitiful persona: a poor boy whose father doesn't love him, whose mother doesn't care for him, and whose sister doesn't dote on him.
Qian Shiyin is surprised.
Tong Nian acts as if it's perfectly normal, says he wants to make it on his own, and asks her not to tell his sister he's working at the bar. His sweet, sensible, resilient act makes Qian Shiyin feel both tender and concerned for him.
3.
After a while spent scheming, Tong Nian successfully confesses his love and invites Qian Shiyin to dinner with his whole dorm.
At the table, his roommate gets drunk and accidentally exposes Tong Nian's true nature.
Tong Nian's heart gives a heavy thump. He spends the whole way home apologizing and explaining, but just as they reach the apartment building, he runs into his sister's shocked, questioning gaze.
"How did you two end up together?"
Tong Nian: "..."
#Can I still pretend to be pitiful?#
#Too late :)#

Theme: Embrace the new spirit of the times, and follow along
I really like the writing, but ① the writing style is a bit childish and a bit embarrassing to watch ② the heroine doesn't want what happened in the book to happen, so she can just stay away. Why should she go all the way to get closer? And even if she wants to bring the male protagonist and the original heroine together, does this have anything to do with the heroine going to school? But it can only make the male protagonist like the female protagonist more favorably. This feels a bit like forcing the male protagonist to like the female protagonist, which is a bit deliberately looking for trouble. And can you bring the male protagonist and the original female protagonist together just by going to school? The original heroine is at work, not at school! I hope the author can do better, with his writing style, thinking, etc.???
? How did it fall on the collarbone?
Leaving behind the tears of Yazhi butterfly [doge]
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the needle does not poke!!
Hahaha, about the novel, I guess it was Ms. Jian who did it. After all, Ms. Jian is the only one who understands the heroine so well and can put things in her place.
Hahaha, when will it be made public? There will also be a wedding!
That's right, people of the same mind
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Super pretty, sprinkle flowers~
Finished with flowers~?????
