She Was the Late-Blooming Heartbeat

Blurb:

Gu Hanyun won the Best Actor title at a young age. In his ten years in the industry, he has starred in countless films, but never been in a relationship.

At a movie premiere, the host asked when he planned to start dating. Gu Hanyun only smiled and said nothing.

After the premiere, Gu Hanyun returned to his apartment. As soon as he entered the bedroom, he saw Yan Mo wrapped in a bath towel, crouched in front of the wardrobe as she looked for pajamas.

Gu Hanyun's Adam's apple bobbed. He hurried to her, lifted her into his arms, and took a long T-shirt from the drawer. "Put this on."

Yan Mo thought of the premiere. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she asked mischievously, "When is Actor Gu going to start dating?"

Gu Hanyun kissed her. His voice came out husky through parted lips. "Now."

When Yan Mo was sixteen, she was brought to the Gu family home and brushed past Gu Hanyun.

When she was twenty-three, she and Gu Hanyun got together.

For the seven years in between, they were absent from each other's lives.

But when someone is the right person, no matter how late they arrive, they can still make your heart race.
