After Witnessing a Top-Tier Star Picking Through Trash

On a foggy night, Luo Ying gave two meat buns to a young man who scavenged for recyclables. He followed her all the way home, and in a panic, she swung her handbag at him.

His dirty, worn baseball cap fell off, revealing an exceptionally stunning face.

He picked up his cap, looking a little aggrieved. "You gave me buns, but I don't have any money. Would twenty empty cans do?"

Ever since she took him in, the cat at home had been getting thinner by the day.

Luo Ying kissed the cat. He beat it up.

Luo Ying slept with the cat. In the middle of the night, he tossed it off the bed.

One day, her best friend teased him: "The person Luo Ying likes is in that box."

When Luo Ying got home, she found all the posters and albums in the box had been shredded.

The culprit looked completely innocent. "He's ugly!"

Luo Ying could only stroke his hair to soothe him. How had this silly boy not noticed that the person on those posters looked exactly like him...?

One day, the figure who greeted her every day was gone when she got home. Not long afterward, the long-missing Film Emperor Fu announced his return.

The day had finally come. Luo Ying knew he had never belonged here in the first place. If she couldn't make him stay, why go looking for him?

At the Chinese-language Film Festival, they met in public for the first time.

Looking at his familiar features, Luo Ying did her best to control her emotions as she shook his hand.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you. My name is Luo Ying."

But he didn't let go of her hand.

"Not nice. It's been so long. I missed you so much."
