The Male Supporting Character Chooses to Raise His Son Alone

After the monkey spirit Xiao Jin was reborn as a human, he discovered he was the male supporting character in a period novel's fictional world. Thinking about the tragic fate of the supporting character's family, Xiao Jin felt a headache coming on. Were the little ones not cute enough, or was the path to immortality not full of enough hardships? Why waste your life pining after the heroine, a crooked tree that would never bear good fruit? So the monkey spirit chose to raise children on his own. He rescued a little black dragon and helped his adoptive father, an old Daoist, fulfill his wish. Then he settled into a leisurely retirement with a group of nonhuman friends, occasionally interrupted by delightful chaos. This story weaves in all sorts of folk legends about spirits and strange creatures. Its main purpose is to remind readers to respect the law of cause and effect. You don't have to believe in it, but when you act, you should always hold to your principles and be able to face your own conscience. Think of it as a cautionary tale. The goofy, lively Yellow Immortal Huang Tianhua, just as human as anyone else, will change your idea of what an immortal is. You think ghosts and monsters are all mournful creatures who hide from the sun in dark corners? That's only because you haven't seen Bian Dongliang sitting in his armchair, basking in the sun while sipping tea... So if you enjoy fun, lively stories about ghosts and monsters, come take a look. Theme: What goes around comes around, and retribution never misses its mark.
