"Mom, yesterday at the food festival, Wang Xiaoke's mom made such delicious cake. Nobody even ate the cookies I brought..."
Sheng Hui: "Kids shouldn't compare themselves to others."
The next day, a homemade ice cream castle cake made by Sheng Hui appeared out of nowhere in the cafeteria of Little Lucky Star Kindergarten, sending the entire Class 2 off the rails.
"Mom, Xu Yilin's mom wore a fairy dress to pick her up from kindergarten today. She looked so pretty. I want a fairy to pick me up too."
Sheng Hui: "Kids shouldn't compare themselves to others."
The next day, Sheng Hui showed up at the kindergarten's dismissal ceremony in a custom-made H-brand outfit, and all the parents and teachers lost it.
"Mom, I heard Chen Zixuan's family has a red sports car. It's redder than a chili pepper. That's so cool!"
Sheng Hui: "Kids shouldn't compare themselves to others."
The next day, Sheng Hui arrived at the kindergarten gates with her daughter on a bright yellow racing motorcycle, and the whole kindergarten went wild.
"Mom, the school is holding a Daddy Sports Day next week. Um, I want a dad..."
Sheng Hui: "Kids shouldn't compare themselves to others... I really can't do anything about this one."
Her little one's face immediately fell.
-
Sheng Hui is firmly against marriage, but she wants a child of her own.
As she prepares for artificial insemination, she meets a man who is almost perfect.
He seems to fall in love with her at first sight, too.
On their first date, she openly tells him that she wants a child, but doesn't want any connection with the child's biological father in the future. If she really gets pregnant, she won't tell him.
Ye Shucheng agrees readily, taking it as a joke.
He believes that with his abilities, no one can escape his grasp.
A few nights later, Sheng Hui leaves without a word and vanishes from the face of the earth.
Ye Shucheng searches for her for five years.
Then, one spring afternoon, with sunlight shimmering around her, she appears outside his office building.
Ye Shucheng thinks he's hallucinating.
Then he sees Sheng Hui walk over and, with feigned friendliness, hand him a flyer:
"Little Lucky Star Kindergarten is holding a Daddy Sports Day this weekend. President Ye, are you free to come?"
"A single mom who always insists on being strong bends for her daughter."
"A domineering CEO who insists on being strong finishes a group meeting and is suddenly asked to go to kindergarten and be his daughter's pony."
[Reading Guide]
1. Over-the-top, feel-good, sweet and satisfying story, with everyone acting like a total boss. All the potential triggers are in the blurb. A power-couple romance, but not a story about a female powerhouse; plenty of romance. The female lead isn't perfect, and her personality is even less so: she's a self-serving perfectionist with a golden finger. If you want a perfect heroine, don't click in. Both leads are each other's only partner in body and heart. The story has a happy ending.
2. Please don't relate this to real life. The author is just telling a story and doesn't favor any particular approach to marriage or having children.
3. The setting serves the plot. Please obey the law and leave reasonable comments. The author is protective of the heroine, and comments that attack her excessively will be deleted.

[Blurb]
Ming Can, a top student at a prestigious university in her sophomore year, finds the son she will have more than a decade in the future on the street one day.
The boy is five, adorable, and well-behaved. Ming Can already loves children, so she quickly accepts the reality that her future son has transmigrated into the present.
As for the child's father, Ming Can doesn't want to get involved with a stranger, so she decides to pretend he doesn't exist.
Six months later, after working herself to the bone, Ming Can gets her son into elementary school.
On a math test out of 100, her son manages to score a grand total of 2 points.
Ming Can, a straight-A student who's always been proud of herself, suffers a mental breakdown. For the first time, she asks about the boy's dad: "Son, tell Mom the truth."
"Is your biological father intellectually disabled?"
-
The boy tells her his father's name. It sounds familiar to Ming Can, but she just can't remember where she's heard it.
One day, Ming Can goes with a friend to a lecture at A University Auditorium.
Her friend introduces her to a famous A University academic whose hand is practically cramping from collecting scholarships: "Do you remember Senior Chi Xiao? He was the science champion of our year."
Hearing the name, Ming Can's heart skips a beat. She looks up and, sure enough, sees a handsome face that looks a little like her son's.
The senior, rumored to be aloof, takes the initiative to shake Ming Can's hand. "Junior Ming Can, long time no see."
Ming Can can't remember when she met him and, with some disdain, quickly brushes his hand:
"Are you really the science champion?"
"Are you sure you took the test yourself?"
Senior: ...?

[Blurb]
Qun Yu meets a young swordsman beneath Mount Buzhou. He's gentle, an excellent cook, and she follows him everywhere.
The swordsman is a lone wanderer with no sect or affiliation. His mission is to destroy demons and uphold justice. His only hobby is cooking, and his only weakness is that he can't resist people who praise his food.
Qun Yu follows the swordsman to Evil Spirit Mountain. As they set a pot over the fire to make soup, a thousand-year-old demon lord suddenly bursts onto the scene.
The demon lord declares, "I am the head of the Ten Thousand Demons of the Evil Spirit Sect. You underlings are fortunate to be my first meal after my return. Now get down on your knees and thank me!"
He laughs out loud, and the gale swirling around him conveniently blows over the giant pot of radish and crucian carp soup the swordsman made for Qun Yu.
The swordsman steps in front of Qun Yu, only to see her staring at the soup spilled across the dirt. Her eyes suddenly turn red, and a surging demonic aura blots out the sky. Day turns to night, all living things bow low, and the demon lord is too scared to breathe.
Yet when she speaks, her voice is still as sweet as jade:
"Damn, I hate show-offs."
Legend has it that only the Demon King Qun Yu, sealed beneath Mount Buzhou, has ever cultivated the body of a ten-thousand-year evil god, able to wield demonic energy at will. Even the Demon-Slaying Divine Sword cannot tell them apart.
Behind Qun Yu, the swordsman can't help touching the Demon-Slaying Divine Sword he has carried for years, the one Qun Yu used to chop beef bones and scrape fish scales: ...
The Divine Sword: I've been famous for slaying demons for a thousand years, but one day of cooking and my good name is ruined. QAQ
Theme: The wise adapt to the times; the knowledgeable adjust to circumstances.
