[My new novel, Farming Peacefully in the Tyrant's Harem, is now open for follows. Please add it to your reading list!]
Yin Jiaojiao transmigrates into an imperial examination novel, becoming the male lead's child bride who dies young.
Looking at the male lead, Shu Yiming, whose face is as pale as paper and who seems as if he'll break at the slightest touch, Yin Jiaojiao furrows her brows.
Since she's transmigrated here, she can't afford to make a losing deal. First, she'll keep the male lead alive, mainly so she can live a long life herself. Then she'll find a way to support him as he studies for the top spot in the imperial exams. Once he makes it big, she'll get her investment back with interest, then leave him and live her own little life.
With this goal in mind, Yin Jiaojiao works especially hard, until one day Shu Yiming picks up her little ledger and asks, "What do you mean by buying a house and moving out of the Shu family?"
Yin Jiaojiao chooses her words carefully. "Once you become an important person, I won't be good enough for you. Then I'll leave on my own, and..."
Before she can finish, Shu Yiming pins her against the wall.
"Who says you're not good enough?" The usually cold and distant young man suddenly turns red-eyed and grits out a threat: "Just try leaving!"
Yin Jiaojiao: ???

Wen Yao transmigrates into a palace-intrigue novel, becoming a cannon-fodder concubine who is executed after appearing in just three episodes.
Looking at a palace full of stunning beauties, chatting and laughing while hiding sharp words beneath their smiles, Wen Yao quietly shrinks back. There's no way she's getting involved in palace intrigue. The current emperor is an unpredictable tyrant, so she needs to stay far away from him.
To save her life, she claims she loves farming and asks to move to the Cold Palace.
Just as she's enjoying an idyllic life in the Cold Palace, growing flowers and plants and playing with cats and dogs, the tyrant kicks the door open. His face is icy, his expression murderous. "The chickens you raise are keeping me awake!"
Wen Yao, holding a newly hatched chick that's too weak to stand and softly chirping: ???
When Rong Jian was six, he fell in the imperial garden. After he woke up, he could read minds, and his personality changed completely.
After ascending the throne, he has to face courtiers and consorts whose words never match their thoughts every day, making him more and more short-tempered.
One day, a concubine sent by a foreign state to seek peace is outrageously presumptuous and asks to move to the Cold Palace.
Rong Jian raises his eyes coolly, murderous intent rising in their depths. But when he hears her inward sigh of regret, "The emperor is so handsome, but he's too thin. It makes me feel sorry for him," the anger coiling in his heart suddenly dissipates.
Later.
Rong Jian waits and waits, but even after half a year, the little concubine who feels sorry for him still hasn't come to pay her respects. Furious, he uses "taking a stroll" as an excuse to pass by the Cold Palace again and again.
But the gates remain firmly shut, and no one comes out to welcome him. Just as he's about to turn away, the little concubine's soft inner voice comes through the crack in the door:
"Wow, why hasn't the emperor left yet? Is he planning to come in for tea? Never mind, I should go watch the chicks hatch!"
Rong Jian is enraged. Am I worth less than a chicken? He kicks the Cold Palace doors open in a fury.
The sun is bright that day. She holds a tiny chick and looks utterly astonished. She's adorable.
For the first time in his life, he feels the urge to pull someone into his arms and make her cry.

Qiu Li has known since childhood that he's an illegitimate son, unwanted and unloved. No other children like him, and no one wants to play with him. He has hoped and reached out, only to be met with cold looks and fists.
Eventually, he stops hoping. He eats alone, goes to kindergarten alone, does his homework alone, and plays alone.
One day, a little girl with her hair tied into a pair of sprouting pigtails runs over and throws away the milk he doesn't like, tosses out all the toys he doesn't like, and invites him to play on the slide. He's so happy that he secretly vows to treat her well and cherish her!
Until one day, the little girl, now a young woman, cries as if the world is ending and tells him to stop treating her well.
At that moment, he can barely control the fury in his chest. But in the end, he gently wipes away her tears and soothes her in a soft voice: "Don't cry. I'll buy you strawberry-flavored cotton candy."
The young woman sobs and nods, still dazed.
He holds her soft hand, his lowered gaze concealing the madness in his eyes. You're my life. I'll agree to anything you say, except for not treating you well.
A sweet little darling VS a gloomy, possessive yandere
Theme: Farm diligently, build a life, grow rich through hard work, and reach the top!
Let me tell you my thoughts after watching it. The first part was pretty good, but it was a bit too big in the middle. I couldn't understand the ending. The heroine said that she dreamed that she had swapped lives with the original owner, and then she traveled back in time. It was still the same thing as a few years ago. I made up for her, thinking about parallel spaces, and then got slapped in the face. No parents showed up, and I never asked about their children. It's really talented, but it's still watchable.
Why are there no extra stories about my younger brother? After giving birth to a child, my younger brother's stories became much less interesting.
Wow wow wow, it's finished, Sahuahua~

Sweet(///▽///)
I think it's sweet. It's just the process of two people falling in love. There isn't much other plot.
