Splendor and Wealth

Though she became a maid, as the head maid to the Duchess of Yingguo, she enjoyed wealth and splendor, fine clothes and food, and her mistress's favor. Jinxiu truly grew up like a young lady of the household. For more than a decade, she was surrounded by silks and satins, enjoyed a life of luxury, and amassed a generous dowry. Now she only needs to choose a loyal husband and keep living happily ever after. This is the story of a lucky head maid who never suffered, toiled, or felt wronged as she grew up in a duke's manor, while also saving up her dowry and acquiring property. Though it features the household intrigues of the duke's manor, this is a farming-life story. It has a few golden fingers, but if you're looking for a passionate romance between the maid and an emperor, prince, or heir, or a story about changing the world, you won't find any of that here, thank you~~ The heroine won't marry into such a family~ The heroine won't suffer, and the male lead is devoted. Don't read if that's not your thing. Also: This is the author's first attempt at a historical romance. I'm sensitive, so please don't leave harsh criticism or compare me to other works. Thank you for your understanding~ If you have feedback, please leave a comment, but writing is hard work, so please don't give a negative rating. Thank you~ This novel will be behind a paywall starting April 25 at 10:00. I'll post two chapters this Thursday beforehand to thank you all, hehe~~ Theme: Women should strive for self-reliance and cherish their dignity and self-worth
