After entering the game, you find yourself facing a crisis: enemy forces are about to besiege the capital and destroy your country. The nation is beset on all sides, and your subordinates harbor ulterior motives. But that's no big deal. As the protagonist of the world, how could you possibly lead an uneventful life? You choose to rise to the challenge, turning the tables while the NPCs watch in shock and awe. With your System panel and its Insight function, you can easily learn the attributes and talents of potential recruits. You gather talented ministers and generals, and use sweet talk that strikes at the heart of each subject's concerns, moving them so deeply that they are willing to die for you. After raising their favorability enough, you achieve the accomplishment of winning the hearts of every official at court. Then you begin conquering the map, counterattacking all the way, reclaiming lost territory, expanding your borders, and fighting all the way to the enemy's royal court to achieve the feat of sealing the wolf at Mount Xuxu. The narration at the very beginning of the blurb describes the achievements the protagonist will ultimately attain. 2. He leaves behind countless fantastic legends in the history books. The imperial biographies written by court historians are so often mistaken for collections of myths that no one realizes they are actually historical accounts. While everyone else is fighting ordinary battles, the protagonist has already launched large-scale magical attacks. 3. The protagonist is not a good person. He regards everything as an NPC, and the only purpose of the [world] is to make him happy. He never develops genuine feelings for NPCs; they are just tools to him. He only cares about traits and abilities. He will recruit high-ranking cards from the enemy side. They may not be good people, but they are cooperative and obedient. To win, the protagonist will use special effects to pretend Heaven favors him, tricking his ministers into following him of their own free will. He will hurl meteorites to wipe out enemy forces, frightening the opposition into keeping their heads down. He will set up an altar and perform a live demonstration of turning fossils into mud, opening up new lands. Along the way, he will accumulate attribute points and crush his subordinates, presenting himself as a virtuous and formidable sage king. The NPCs will bow down to him and surrender at the mere rumor of his approach. 4. In later generations, countless inscriptions, biographies, and legendary tales will be unearthed. Monuments celebrating his military achievements and offerings made by the people of their own accord will ensure that his deeds are passed down forever. The protagonist will become a mainstream deity, the archetypal embodiment of [Victory], [Miracles], and many other concepts. Through the System's functions, he can glimpse how later generations judge his unique actions. Their assessments are nothing but unreserved praise for him. 5. A feel-good power fantasy with a self-centered protagonist. He can purchase all kinds of cheats from the System Shop. 6. Even after the protagonist leaves, the world will keep running and continue evolving. 7. The heir is someone the protagonist bought from the System Shop. This is a somewhat ensemble-focused story, and sometimes the protagonist will not appear for an entire chapter. He does not appear in Chapter 22. 8. Some readers are bothered by the gender of the ministers and have repeatedly raised the issue, thinking that having female ministers is strange. I didn't know this counted as a dealbreaker until people brought it up, so I'm clarifying in advance. This is not a serious historical novel. The protagonist is a male emperor who mostly appears as a young boy in the main story, but he has many outstanding female ministers under his command. They feel only the pure loyalty of subject to ruler toward him, and he sees his subordinates only as tools. The setting is an alternate world with fantasy elements. Ministers are generally judged by their family background and ability, not their gender. If people can cultivate immortality, then surely it makes sense for there to be capable female officials too. In this story, ministers are simply ministers. Their gender is not emphasized; as long as they can do the job, that's all that matters. Note: 1. This is an alternate-world setting with some fantasy elements, not a traditional transmigration-to-ancient-times story. The background includes supernatural forces. The protagonist is a confident young gamer who believes he is favored by fate. He's a chuunibyou who excels at sweet talk and feeding his ministers honeyed words. He is cold, selfish, ambitious, and resolute, and has never had romantic feelings for anyone. His golden finger is extremely powerful. 2. This is a true game setting with elements such as a System. The plot exists solely to deliver feel-good wish fulfillment, and that takes priority over logical consistency. Never mind that my story is sung from south to north. I can even use literature to end wars. System, given how hard I've worked, give me a high rating. And it's only natural that I end up as the literary giant of my age. [As you say, you will become a legend in every world, the undisputed winner in life.] Note: The protagonist has little sense of morality. To become a winner in life, he may plagiarize, manipulate the world from behind the scenes, and deceive others. His stance is not necessarily wholly good.
