[New serial: Take the Lead, Alpha Ji. A band singer x drummer. See my profile.]
Li Yuan never expected that being forced by her former boss into a job as a magazine reporter would end up costing both her and her partner their lives.
With her last breath, she finally confessed to her former boss, Meng Qing. But Meng Qing, who was trying on wedding dresses, didn't take Li Yuan's confession seriously at all. After a few seconds, someone on the other end of the phone urged her along, and Meng Qing said just one thing before hanging up: "Li Yuan, come back from the dead first, then we'll talk."
Li Yuan spat out a mouthful of blood. Fine, then. I'll die!
Later, Li Yuan did die and come back. Looking at Meng Qing's bewitchingly beautiful face again, she no longer wanted to repeat those last words.

Upcoming novel, see my profile: Hey, Take Me Away
At seventeen, Yu Huan transferred schools during her senior year of high school and met her less-than-friendly deskmate, Shen Can.
Later, the deskmate everyone called an aloof beauty broke her leg, and ten minutes between classes weren't even enough for a trip to the bathroom. Yu Huan followed behind her, teasing, "Hey, would it kill you to ask me for help?"
Shen Can leaned against the wall, assuming Yu Huan was making fun of her. She shot her a sidelong glance. "Get lost."
Yu Huan's kindness was repaid with contempt. She stopped smiling, picked Shen Can up with a cold expression, and said, "Hold on tight. Don't fall again."
Before long, their classmates were secretly shipping them.
At the graduation dinner, one of their classmates worked up the courage to ask after a few drinks.
Yu Huan froze for a moment. "Buddy, you've got the wrong idea. She has a boyfriend, and I have a girlfriend. We're just good friends."
At twenty-one, Yu Huan started a closed-door internship at a company.
One call from Shen Can, and she rushed back without a second thought.
At Shen Can's mother's funeral, Shen Can clung to her and sobbed hysterically, while Yu Huan's gaze darkened as she looked at the man beside her.
After the funeral, just before leaving, Yu Huan pressed a box and a bottle into Shen Can's hands. With a mischievous smile, she told her not to accidentally make a baby.
Shen Can was still crying. Yu Huan wiped her tears and kissed her forehead. "If things aren't going well, tell me. I'll come back and take you away."
At twenty-seven, Yu Huan came out of the airport with a suitcase, red-eyed, and moved in with Shen Can.
Yu Huan cried in the bathtub while Shen Can sat on the floor outside, lost in thought.
After yet another failed blind date, Yu Huan teased her.
Shen Can clenched her fingers and spoke so softly it was almost inaudible: "Didn't you say you'd take me away?"
Reading guide: The story follows ordinary people through life's struggles. No domineering CEO golden finger. Internal controls auditor x corporate trainer. It spans a long period, from school to adulthood. There are exes, so purity-conscious readers should quit while they're ahead. This isn't a fluffy romance: there are secret crushes, pursuit, joy, and sorrow. It's a story about a lesbian falling in love with a woman who pretends to be straight. The characters' growth takes place at different stages, and the point of view will shift between them. Neither of them gets away.
Theme: Growing up
The writing style is retro, and it always feels like you are reading a novel from ten years ago.
This is good. As long as our Li Li is happy (Meng: Bah! Who is your Li Li)?
Hey, if she's good-looking, just fall in love with her.
I haven't seen this kind of sexy operation in six years of reading.
Sister Wei is right, you two should stop harming others.
If you are so arrogant, then you can be as arrogant as possible! Is it okay to replace the script of the boss with the script of the little sweet wife?
Damn you, where did such a little devil come from who deserves a beating?
Although it's a little rushed, I think it has a good ending.
This is the end, this is the end
Wait, I didn't quite understand, so they are actually twins, right? When was Meng reborn?
