[Originally titled "Taking the A's Initiative," but I changed it because the title sounded too much like ABO. I actually really like the "taking the A's initiative" joke.]
Mom has fallen in love. The man is excellent, and even better, he has a beautiful niece.
The young lady is talented at music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. Chen Chenyi was taught from childhood to spend more time with her and learn from her.
Later, the young lady went astray, defied convention, and stopped coming home, so they naturally lost touch.
But her girlish daydreams were filled with Xu Qingwei's name.
The day they reunited.
Xu Qingwei's red lips were bold and alluring, her gaze hazy, making Chen Chenyi want to take a bite.
She fell at first sight, and Xu Qingwei so captivated her that Chen Chenyi forgot why she'd come and followed her in a daze.
A little shadow started following her around, and her friends teased Xu Qingwei for flirting with everyone.
Xu Qingwei looked baffled. After holding back again and again, she finally showed them the evidence and snapped, "How is this my fault?"
Her friends stared in shock.
Sugoi, her little shadow was wild and bold.
At the first live show by the women's rock band PON, thousands of fans filled the venue, their cheers shaking the air.
During the encore, the number-one fan went onstage with a huge bouquet of roses, affectionately took the lead singer by the arm, and called her "big sister" in a sweet voice.
Back in the dressing room, in front of everyone, Chen Chenyi pinned Xu Qingwei into a corner
She brandished a drumstick, full of fury. "You let her call you big sister?!"
Xu Qingwei spread her hands. "She called me that. It has nothing to do with me."
"Oh?"
At the very last moment before she got hit by a drumstick, Xu Qingwei's survival instinct kicked in. "But I only call you Baby!"
That night, Xu Qingwei posted on Weibo: This is Lao Xu. I'm not your big sister.
Netizens: Sure thing, hubby!
Xu Qingwei put on an innocent face. "See? It's not my fault."
Chen Chenyi: "How about giving me a title, then?"
A few notes before reading:
1. Couple: band lead singer x drummer. They have other identities to have fun with, too.
2. Childhood friends, seven-year age gap.
3. "Taking the A's initiative" is a joke, not ABO!!! (Manually highlighted.)
Coming soon, see my author page: Hey, Take Me Away
When Yu Huan was seventeen, she transferred schools in her senior year of high school and met her not-so-friendly desk mate, Shen Can.
Later, the so-called "unapproachable beauty" desk mate broke her leg, and ten minutes between classes wasn't enough to make it to the restroom. Yu Huan followed behind, teasing her: "Hey, would it kill you to ask me for help?"
Shen Can leaned against the wall, assuming she was making fun of her. She shot Yu Huan a glance. "Get lost."
Yu Huan's kindness was thrown back in her face. She stopped smiling, coldly picked her up, and said, "Hold on tight. Don't fall again."
Before long, their classmates were privately shipping them.
At their graduation dinner, a classmate got up the courage to ask them about it.
Yu Huan paused. "Dude, you've got the wrong idea. She has a boyfriend, and I have a girlfriend. We're just friends."
At twenty-one, Yu Huan started a closed internship at a company.
One call from Shen Can, and she rushed back without a second thought.
At Shen Can's mother's funeral, Shen Can clung to her and wept uncontrollably, while Yu Huan's eyes darkened as she looked at the man beside her.
After the funeral, before leaving, Yu Huan slipped a box and a bottle into her hand. With a careless smile, she told her not to accidentally get pregnant.
Shen Can was still crying. Yu Huan wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead. "If things aren't going well, let me know. I'll come back and take you away."
At twenty-seven, Yu Huan came out of the airport dragging a suitcase, her eyes red as she moved into Shen Can's home.
Yu Huan cried in the bathtub while Shen Can sat on the floor outside, deep in thought.
After another disastrous blind date, Yu Huan teased her.
Shen Can clenched her fingers and spoke so softly it was almost inaudible. "Didn't you say you'd take me away?"
A few notes before reading: An ordinary person's long, winding journey. No domineering CEO golden finger. Internal audit x corporate trainer. Spans a long period, from school to the working world. There are exes, so readers who need spotless relationships should quit while they're ahead. This isn't a fluffy romance: there is unrequited love, a pursuit, happiness, and sorrow. A lesbian falls in love with a woman who thinks she's straight. The characters' timelines differ, so the point of view shifts between them. Neither gets away.
Theme: Opportunity always favors those who are prepared.
It's a good series, the story and characters are very good, I hope more people will see this work. Another feeling after watching this is that I hope the story lines of the secondary characters and deputy CPs can be more complete. I'm still thinking about Teacher Qin and Ah Huai coming out and being sweet, as well as the blessings from Mother Chen and Uncle Nan, or something else. The author's writing is very daily and natural, and it is very enjoyable to read. It will not make people feel watery, but I think it has reached 100 chapters. The various characters in the story should be more fleshed out. This is just my personal opinion (/ω\)
