Tales of the Eighties [Reborn]

At a young age, Cen Tao has already become the renowned chef of the surrounding villages. Whenever a family holds a wedding or funeral banquet, Cen Tao is the first cook they think of.

Liu Da Qian returns to the village for his younger brother's wedding feast and gets a taste of Cen Tao's cooking. After spending days fretting over a problem, Liu Da Qian sees Cen Tao, the chef in charge, and his eyes instantly fill with tears. He found her! At last, he found her!

Reborn at eighteen, Cen Tao only wants to use the skills she learned in her past life to earn some money, buy a plot of land in the village, build a spacious courtyard, raise chickens and pigs, grow vegetables, and live a quiet life.

When Liu Da Qian, Liu Xiao Qian's older brother, says he hopes she'll work as a nanny for Mr. Yu, who's just returned from overseas, for a monthly salary of one hundred and fifty... Cen Tao wonders if this Mr. Yu has more money than he knows what to do with.

Liu Da Qian doesn't seem to be joking [crossed out], and working as a nanny won't leave her choking in smoke and heat like cooking for a crowd. The monthly pay is also higher than she earns as a banquet chef, so Cen Tao agrees.

Later, Cen Tao learns there is a reason the monthly salary is so high.
