Catch Ghosts and Woo Beauties, Two Birds with One Stone

Bai Yutang is the third young master of the Bai residence in Qingxi City. Born lazy and carefree, he drifts through each day, spending his endless supply of money however he likes. Yet despite his dashing, flirtatious nature, there has never been a woman by his side.

It's not that he's chaste. He has an unspeakable problem. He doesn't know what curse has befallen him, but every woman who gets close to him dies.

-

He later learns that the underworld chose him to be a ghost-catching master. Only after he captures every evil spirit on the list will the yin energy of the netherworld dissipate from his body and let him return to normal.

As it happens, a beautiful little apprentice is destined to accompany the ghost-catching master. After so long without a woman, he's overjoyed, falls for his little apprentice at first sight, and can't wait to take her to bed.

But he never imagined that his little apprentice had her own reasons for getting close to him.

Since they both have improper intentions toward each other, why not let two wrongs make a right, drop their inhibitions, and head straight to the bridal chamber? (︿(￣︶￣)︿

In a nutshell: The longest road he's ever walked turns out to be the most sincere scheme from the underworld. The scariest thing is the underworld suddenly taking an interest in you, quietly choosing you for a high-ranking position without saying a word. (Catching the big ghosts on the sly, not...)

The charming, carefree Bai-gongzi x the clever, sweet young lady

[Not a traditional underworld setting. A brand-new premise, set in an imaginary ancient world. Purely fictional, so don't scrutinize it.]

[Not scary, not gory. The ghosts are all beautiful? Cute? Goofy?]

Theme: Capture evil spirits and protect all living things.
