The Pace of a Heartbeat

Gu Yin joins a new band. The lead singer has an impressive vocal range and a beautiful voice, while the guitarist is incredibly skilled and plays at lightning speed.

Only the drummer is different. The part of the band that's supposed to be the most energetic is instead quiet and reserved. He speaks in an even tone and stays calm and composed no matter what he's doing.

Gu Yin thinks he's like a little animal, well-behaved and quiet.

That is, until rehearsal, when his perfectly timed beats and skillful drumming tease her heart and ears.

Later, he corners her in the rehearsal room, guitar and all...

The drummer's long, slender fingers casually twirl her guitar strap.

Shen Yu: "You think I'm like a little animal, huh?"

Gu Yin: "QAQ"

Looks can be deceiving!
