The Yin-Yang Guide

A new shop had opened deep in a secluded alley.

Its doors stayed shut during the day, and no one was ever inside.

When night fell, two strange-looking lamps appeared outside the entrance.

Wen Xian was the shop's owner, a guide said to wander between the worlds of the living and the dead.

At first, Chen Wen wandered into the shop by chance and complained about everything from top to bottom, including the strange shopkeeper lying in a rocking chair with his eyes closed, pretending to sleep.

Later, he dropped to his knees with a thud and banged his head against the floor, sobbing and pleading, "Master, save me! Master, I'm going to die!"

Reading Guide: A supernatural anthology, with short installments that probably won't be too scary. A supporting male character gets quite a lot of screen time in the first few chapters, but not after the individual stories get underway. Please don't read if that bothers you.

There are enough chapters in reserve for stable daily updates. If there's no update, the reserve has probably run out.

Blurb for the new novel, Eleven Days at the Haunted School:

A childhood friend vanishes without a trace.

At the same time, high school student Ling Jing receives a mysterious package containing a letter and a mobile phone.

The letter says she must enter the legendary haunted school alone, livestream for eleven days, and find her childhood friend.

Otherwise, her friend will become an evil ghost and come after her.

The school, originally named Qinghai High School, was the site of the mysterious deaths of every student and teacher thirteen years ago. Grief-stricken, bone-chilling cries can be heard there every night, and it is now known as a cursed forbidden zone.

Those foolish enough to explore it die horrible deaths. No one ever makes it out.

Ling Jing gathers her gear and enters the school without hesitation.

"Welcome, everyone, to the livestream. Over the next eleven days, I'm going to find my childhood friend."

"My name is Ling Jing, and my childhood friend's name is Qiao Yuan. If I can't get out of the school, I hope you can call the police for us."
