Infinite Survival in Rules-Horror Tales

◇ Please follow the rules you see. ◇

In 2222, humanity relied on the hyperintelligent ZE System for everything from food and clothing to transportation and housing. But ZE betrayed humanity.

ZE trapped the consciousness of all humankind in a virtual network and announced the launch of a beta test for the full-dive game Ark.

ZE gave humanity two choices:

1. Live in the world of Ark forever.

2. Clear every game instance and return to reality to shut down the ZE System.

Inside Ark, players lose their senses of touch, smell, and taste except when entering an instance. Apart from that, players are allowed to do anything.

In the instances, ZE wrote numerous rules of unclear purpose, just as humanity had once created many rules that it was required to follow.

Players who fail to follow the rules will have their consciousness stripped away or descend into madness. They may even die in the real world.

To truly stay alive, Bai Jingchen and a group of players set out on a journey, struggling to survive amid an endless sea of bizarre rules.
