The Boss, Dazai, Doesn't Want a Secret Marriage

◇ The Mafia boss who wants to strip away his wife's secret identities × the mercenary leader who wants the boss dead (and gone) ◇

The head of the freelance mercenary group Vermilion Bird took a job to eliminate an executive of the Port Mafia.

Following her intel, she led her team to surround the executive's car. But the one who stepped out was the young boss of the Port Mafia.

With all his underlings watching, he walked straight up to her and held out his phone.

Vermilion Bird's underlings had seen this scene plenty of times. Another guy had fallen for their boss's looks and come to ask for her number.

The truth:

The innocent Port Mafia boss: "You took mine this morning."

The legendary SSS-rank mercenary Vermilion Bird: "...You put out the contract on me again?"

The aggrieved Port Mafia boss: "You didn't save my number. It's been ringing all day. So many people looking for you?"

The supposedly aloof SSS-rank mercenary Vermilion Bird: "...This job pays well."

The helpless Port Mafia boss: "Did my allowance get cut off again? Then would you accept the same kind of payment as last night?"

The supposedly aloof, chaste SSS-rank mercenary Vermilion Bird: "..."

The mercenary group's executives, who heard the whole conversation: "???" (What did our boss do?)

The Port Mafia executive, the mercenary group's target, inside the car: "!!!" (What is our boss trying to do?)

The underlings watching the two of them physically exchange contact information from afar:

Underling A: Boss! Don't let him tempt you. That guy has a woman! She's a famous underground idol!

Underling B: Isn't she a surgeon? He keeps getting himself beaten up just to see her. He must really like her, right?

Underling C: I heard she's the second-ranked assassin on the wanted list. Isn't this weakling still alive thanks to his woman?

Underling D: The one I know is the proprietress of the underground bar who controls all the intel! She's married, too. Tsk, tsk...

The supposedly single, aloof, chaste SSS-rank mercenary Vermilion Bird, thinking: How did all the secret identities I put on for my missions somehow get tangled up with him? The marriage agreement said he couldn't make our marriage public, so is this how he's going to mess with me?

He's way too unruly. He shouldn't be the Mafia boss anymore.
