My new novel, Her Substitute Only Wants Money, is currently updating. If you're interested, feel free to bookmark it in my author page.
The third young master of the Xu family returned from studying abroad, and his father immediately told him to marry Ruan Ning, a country girl. After years of learning new things and soaking up Western ideas, the Third Young Master Xu refused to marry a village girl he'd never even met. Defying his father's wishes, he wrote a letter breaking off the engagement that very night and sent it to the countryside.
Ruan Ning had always been well-behaved, following her parents' wishes and the traditional rule that marriages were arranged by matchmakers. Unable to bear the humiliation of receiving the letter breaking off their engagement, she jumped into a river and took her own life.
When she woke up again, Ruan Ning found herself back at the age of eight. Her parents asked her whether she wanted to go to school or learn needlework from her mother.
In her previous life, Ruan Ning had followed her mother's wishes and learned needlework and how to be a good wife and mother. In the end, her engagement was broken off.
This time, Ruan Ning chose to go to school without a moment's hesitation.
And so Ruan Ning went to school. Ten years later, she boarded a ship bound for England. As luck would have it, the Third Young Master Xu was on the same ship.
Ruan Ning did the math. In about three years, the Third Young Master Xu, who had been engaged to her since childhood, would send someone to deliver a letter breaking off their engagement.
Xu Chengye had never approved of the marriage his father arranged for him. He thought his father was old-fashioned and narrow-minded, and didn't respect his opinion. But since the other family's father had saved their lives, he chose to accept it.
Then, while studying in England, he met a woman aboard a ship. She was intelligent and perceptive, and highly skilled in medicine. Xu Chengye fell in love with her at first sight and resolved to break off his engagement for her.
But after he did...
Ruan Ning: "Mr. Xu, we've already broken off our engagement. Why are you still coming to see me?"
Xu Chengye: "..."

Xiao Yi entered the palace at sixteen and became Empress Dowager at twenty-five, ruling from behind the curtain. Within a year, she had tripled the territory of the Li Dynasty. Two years later, however, she choked to death on a date.
Xiao Yi: "..."
When she woke up again, Xiao Yi had become Xiao Yi, a little nobody just starting her career. Xiao Yi was born into a family that favored sons over daughters. Though she was the cherished daughter of the Xiao family, she lived cautiously from childhood. After graduation, she found a job on her own, but a senior colleague took a dislike to her and bullied her at every turn. The man she had a crush on even treated her like an ATM.
Xiao Yi: The palace maids around me had better lives than she does.
And so the former champion of palace intrigue, the Empress Dowager Xiao, began another journey with everything going her way.
A family that favors sons? They say I can't inherit the company because I'm a woman? Sorry, if I want to, I can take over ten Xiao corporations.
You want to scheme against me and make my life difficult? I'll show you what a palace intrigue champion can do.
You played with my feelings and took me for a fool? You might not know what happened to the dog emperor.
And so the once-pitiful office worker fought her way to the top. She took down the two-faced colleague, cut off her son-preferring parents and useless younger brother, became the new CEO of the Xiao Group, dealt with a scumbag, and started a relationship based on mutual gain with the CEO of In's.
But one night, as Xiao Yi and Yin Ze were whispering sweet nothings to each other, she saw a mark on Yin Ze's chest, identical to the one on the regent Yin Zhe. It was the burn mark left when Yin Zhe was injured by a hot iron while saving her after she was banished to the cold palace.
Xiao Yi: ???

Upcoming novel 2: The Pursuit, launching in mid-December
1. Song Xin married Lu Ji after graduating from university and spent three years as his gentle, considerate wife. Later, Lu Ji's first love returned from abroad, and he immediately handed her a divorce agreement and a huge settlement.
Song Xin, who everyone assumed would cry and make a scene, glanced at the settlement amount and cheerfully signed the divorce papers.
A month later, Lu Ji saw Song Xin being interviewed on TV.
The host asked her, "What do you think about the recent online comments claiming that you made it onto the Forbes list of the richest women by divorcing your ex-husband?"
Song Xin smiled slightly at the camera. "First of all, you need a face that's extremely similar to a domineering CEO's first love."
Lu Ji: ...
2. Lu Ji had always thought Song Xin stayed by his side for three years because she loved him, which was why he tried to compensate her as much as possible when they divorced.
Later, he fell for her, only to discover that Song Xin had only ever been interested in his money.
Theme: Women standing on their own feet and striving for success
I took a quick look at it and found that the writing style, emmm, is very stiff, and the plot jumps very suddenly. The female protagonist feels like a virgin, and the male protagonist is just a background pillar who wants to be scolded. I know where the pestle is, and the author's portrayal of the characters. It's very dull (T-T). The male protagonist's sister was very generous when she was quarreling her brother on the boat and when she sympathized with the female protagonist. She usually just bluffed, not to mention that she was a lady, and she didn't even show the playful and smart little girl. The idea is a bit novel, but I stayed up late at night watching this and felt it wasn't worth it. The author still needs to practice his writing and skills. Alas, it's a waste.
After watching it, overall it was okay, although the extras were really like matryoshka dolls. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I watched the wedding four times, got pregnant three times, and twice the heroine went to the front line. . . . However, the overall text is still okay~
The male and female protagonists are very happy. They both risked their own lives for each other, which moved me to death. I hope the author can have a husband like this. Of course, the author's husband has several friends who can disrespect him at any time, and then his husband waits for his wife to be scolded without saying a word. It would be nice for the author to just go through it, and it is his favorite male protagonist. He becomes the heroine and dies for once to see if he can fall in love with a man who has no sense of responsibility from beginning to end. I don't think the female protagonist loves the male protagonist. The female protagonist is like a woman who should be awakened. She is strong, brave, smart and patriotic. She chooses the life she wants and is ready to dedicate herself. In the end, she is bound by words and has to fall in love with a man. Just because this is what the author thought was a sweet story, but I never felt that the sweetness is there, between men and women. The protagonist's feelings are stiff and unnatural, and the stinking male protagonist finally gets a sparkling heroine, but what he likes is not the heroine herself. What he likes is the heroine under various auras, a heroine who has exuded her own unique charm, but not the heroine herself. His love has additional characteristics that require the heroine to be excellent. This is not a sweet story, it is a story about the heroine's self-improvement. So the author travels back in time and falls in love, letting the heroine in the second life shine in her best place. She deserves a consistent choice and someone who can see through her essence. This person does not need to be the hero or the second hero, he can be a passerby, and his name does not appear in the article, but he must love the heroine who was once not good, and then accompany the heroine to become an excellent person.
Congratulations on the completion, I finally tied it

When will it be updated today?
I feel like rebirth is meaningless, I'm still living in the past, and the heroine is still cowardly and not decisive.
