As an Alpha with a wealthy family, good looks, height, and excellent professional skills, You Sun had enjoyed smooth sailing ever since his debut and attracted plenty of envy.

But only You Sun knew that things weren't all smooth sailing for him.

Two years ago, he was diagnosed as completely immune to Omega pheromones.

What did that mean?

It meant that as an Alpha, he'd never have a rut, and would never be able to fully mark an Omega. For the rest of his life, he'd have to live like a monk, celibate and deprived.

That year, his company got him a role in a film.

You Sun had a small supporting role. The male lead was a movie star who had won every major domestic film award with a single movie several years earlier.

The small role had only two scenes: one rescuing the movie star, and one sleeping with him.

For the first scene's audition, You Sun had to smash a window, climb into a church, and find the male lead, who was in the middle of an Omega heat and had beaten himself nearly to death with a ruler.

The movie star sat in the church, coolly watching the younger actor audition.

You Sun climbed through the window as planned and pretended to be out of breath, about to... when the movie star suddenly released the scent of Alpha pheromones.

In the middle of this improvised scene, the moment You Sun caught the scent of Jin Ke's pheromones, his first heat in nineteen years began.

The night before the second scene, Jin Ke came to knock on You Sun's door with a script in hand, saying he wanted to rehearse the scene with him properly.

You Sun slammed the door shut, grabbed Jin Ke by the collar, and said, "You bastard, let your pheromones leak all over the place again and I'll kill you."

And a bunch of people he has never even met claim that they once had a thing with him, and that he is a legendary scumbag who seduced and abandoned them:

"You scumbag! Is this what you meant when you said you'd love me forever and never change your heart? What's your relationship with that stepbrother/pregnant mistress/old man's adopted son/self-righteous bastard of a Taoist...? Ugh, you dog of a man!"

After avoiding that bunch of lunatics, he thought he might finally meet a normal person. But after barely three days, the normal person dragged him to the beach, pointed to the ocean, and told the landlubber Ji Shao that one day he'd become the ruler of the sea, fight his enemies in three hundred rounds of battle, and become a legend. And since it had come to this, he might as well come clean: Ji Shao was the protagonist of a male-oriented web novel, and he was someone who had transmigrated into a book, here only to give Ji Shao a hand. He didn't want much in return, just that once Ji Shao became a god, Ji Shao would rule the heavens and he would rule the earth...

"What? You want to know where the other lunatics came from? Ah... you're pretty popular. Maybe they're all your fanfiction?"
