The School Doctor Is Sick

[Coming next: Are You Actually Straight?]

Before the semester begins, teacher Ye Luo heads to a bar after a bout of romantic disappointment. After spending the night with someone, he hears the sound of water running in the bathroom. He never sees the person or remembers what they looked like, so he gets dressed and leaves.

Lu Ziheng comes out wearing a bathrobe to find the bed empty and the person gone. He narrows his eyes in annoyance, then spots a card among the packaging scattered across the floor.

At the start of the semester, Ye Luo's stomach acts up again. As usual, he goes to the infirmary for medicine. Since he doesn't have a class next period, he takes the chance to lie down and chat with the school doctor.

Ye Luo sets his glasses aside. "Xiao Li, get me a box of digestive tablets."

There is a rustling sound from the pharmacy.

Ye Luo says lazily, "I've lost my teacher ID again. I'll have to go to the administration office to get a replacement later. Teacher Zhang will definitely try to set me up with someone again and compare them to you. Why did you get married so young?"

After a long silence, Ye Luo opens his eyes and makes out a teacher ID card.

Lu Ziheng: "Teacher Ye, you left your ID behind when you rushed out that morning."

Ye Luo: ...

Lu Ziheng: "Also, I'm not seeing anyone."

"Big brother, what do you think would've happened if I'd jumped from here back then?"

"Then someone else would have found my teacher ID."

The one time he did was when he caught the heartthrob with a green sprout growing over his head. After taking one look at the guy involved, Song Ji suddenly thought the heartthrob's girlfriend was being pretty unreasonable.

Song Ji never expected to get into the same university as Jiang Zhilu and even end up in the same class.

He keeps a photo of the heartthrob being cheated on. To protect his dignity, he pretends he doesn't know about it.

Song Ji accidentally bumps his head, and Jiang Zhilu rubs it affectionately. Song Ji tells himself Jiang Zhilu is straight, and he still has the photo of him being cheated on.

Jiang Zhilu calls him big brother. It's just politeness. Jiang Zhilu is straight.

Jiang Zhilu helps him change clothes. They're both men, so what's there to be afraid of? Jiang Zhilu is straight.

Jiang Zhilu takes him home. He's just visiting a friend. Jiang Zhilu is straight.

Jiang Zhilu puts his hand inside his...

Lying in bed, Song Ji can't take it anymore. "Jiang Zhilu, are you fucking straight or not?"

Jiang Zhilu looks down at Song Ji, whose eyes are red. "I was never straight."
