[Completed] [Other stories in the series: Ordinary Character Settings Must Not Crumble, Black Atsushi and White Akutagawa storyline, Boss Dazai, ongoing Welcome to the Heart-Pounding Yokohama Academy Game, Academy Dazai, completed] Short blurb: What's something your boyfriend has done because he likes you? Qi Lin: Thanks for the invite. Back when he wasn't my boyfriend yet, he stirred up a battlefield of romantic rivals around me and tried to set me up with someone else. I guess I was the MVP of the whole thing :) Full blurb: Qi Lin was a laid-back idol who only had a guy in a black suit and sunglasses show up to cheer her on in person. But after her former boss, the head of the Port Mafia, bought her agency, she was forced to go all out with her career. Then one day, rumors suddenly broke that she might be dating several people at once. The list of accusations included: Getting a little too close to a blond model Riding on the back of a black-hatted man's motorcycle Being childhood friends with the son of a financial magnate Going on a cafe date with a pink-haired high school student Meeting a mysterious man at a bar at night She later discovered that it had all been the work of that bandage-wasting device. Later still, she found out the guy actually liked her, so why was he trying to push her toward other people? Caught in a love-triangle mess that had been set in motion, Qi Lin thought: ...Does this baffling behavior really make you happier? Much later, she became a powerhouse idol and rose to the top. Her boyfriend was confirmed to be an ordinary company employee, and everyone was begging her in tears to break up with him. One ordinary member of the Armed Detective Agency let out a laugh, as if he already knew how the story would end. "You two were made for each other. We're rooting for you!" Only when a fan said this to her on the street did Qi Lin realize that Twitter was already overflowing with praise for their perfect love story. Qi Lin: ...Sure, but there's no need. What is the deal with my boyfriend?! What if I want to return him all of a sudden! Tips for reading: 1. This is a wish-fulfillment story, with unrequited crushes. 2. There will also be some Lovecraftian elements presented through memes, and my own version of Nyarlathotep, full of original worldbuilding, will appear. 3. The pairing is Dazai. I finally gave in. This really is a Dazai who pulls some seriously outrageous stunts. 4. The author knows nothing about show business. This whole thing is made up from scratch. Theme:
