The Master of Spirits Comes from Hakuoki

A strange fox bounced around on Hijikata Toshizo's grave and woke him up. When Hijikata woke, he found that he'd lost his memory. The strange fox then talked him into becoming a Saniwa. When Hijikata met Horikawa Kunihiro and Izuminokami Kanesada, he realized that he knew them, even if he couldn't remember how. So Hijikata decided to recover his memories... Mostly a slice-of-life story about the vice-commander and the swords~ Important notes!!!!! #Headcanon 1: The vice-commander changed from a Rasetsu into a vampire. Rasetsu have all kinds of side effects, and I feel so bad for the vice-commander, just like I do for Soji.# P.S. Why a vampire and not a ghost? Vampires live longer than ghosts. They're called the undead and have very long lifespans, so the vice-commander can stay with the swords for a long, long time. #Headcanon 2: Hijikata Toshizo's vampire form is the same as his Rasetsu form, except using his powers no longer shortens his life.# #Hakuoki is considered a separate world, so Kanesada and Horikawa will find the vice-commander familiar but won't know he's Hijikata Toshizo.# #I'm having a hard time nailing the vice-commander's personality, so the characters may be OOC.# #I just really want to read stories about the vice-commander and the swords, but there aren't many, while there are plenty about Soji, so I'm writing one myself.# #A little spoiler: Soji will appear~# Theme:
