Chu Huailan was passing through Chang'an on an errand when he spotted a martial arts matchmaking contest outside the city. He was planning to keep a low profile and move on, but then an eight-foot-tall brawny man came flying out of nowhere.
The helpless Alliance Leader had no choice but to shove the man far away. Just then, the young woman in red on the stage, holding a silver spear, called out, "Sir, wait! Come up here and fight me. If I win, you marry me. If you win, I'll marry you."
The Alliance Leader politely declined this shameless, overbearing deal. But the young woman, who had just been ready to take on ten men at once, suddenly spat out a half-foot-high jet of blood and collapsed onto the ground, looking frail and delicate. "The force of your palm just now was so powerful that it injured me. Aren't you going to take responsibility?"
Chu Huailan had no idea his palm force could turn corners.
He was even less prepared to learn that, despite her youth, this young woman was not only a skilled martial artist, but also an expert at shaking people down.
Li Shuyu: "I changed the martial world."
Chu Huailan: "How many dishes did you have with that drink yesterday?"
Du Shiqi: "A miraculous elixir that cures drunken nonsense. Forty thousand taels of silver per bottle. Fools welcome, the sensible stay away. I can't beat you."
The world's most irreverent, scheming Alliance Leader × the general's daughter who loves a fight more than anyone in the world
New xianxia romance: After My Master Was Killed, the Demon Lord Came Back for Revenge
[The seemingly delicate female demon lord x the gentle, virtuous little immortal]
[A pair who play the pig to eat the tiger]
Lu Zhao, the most powerful female demon lord in the Three Realms, spent her whole life killing anyone who stood in her way, be they gods or Buddhas. Yet she was brought down by her only disciple.
Only as she lay dying did she learn that a jade bone grew inside her body, a rare celestial treasure unseen in the Upper Realm for a century, capable of raising one's cultivation to a higher level.
Her disciple carved the jade bone out of Lu Zhao while she was alive. She died with her eyes wide open.
When she opened her eyes again, Lu Zhao had been reborn into a prominent sect in the Lower Realm as the only daughter of its sect leader.
The sect leader and his wife had a daughter late in life, but their only child was born frail and could cultivate no better than an ordinary disciple.
Behind her back, the inner disciples mocked her: "If she didn't have such wonderful parents, how would she get to live in luxury? Even her child husband is useless."
Lu Zhao didn't care much. Her favorite pastime was teasing her purehearted little husband, who blushed easily.
That is, until one day, the traitorous disciple from her previous life arrived with the demon clan, intent on swallowing up the sect.
With the sect leader away and the disciples at a loss, the normally cultivation-averse junior sister appeared, drifting into view in a flowing red robe.
The demon clan was routed. Sword in hand, she strode across a mountain of corpses and a river of blood, her red robe blending with the crimson world around her.
Lu Zhao tapped the traitor's chest with a finger painted in red nail polish, a smile touching her eyes. "It's been a while, my dear disciple."
"You took that bone from me. Today, I'm taking it back."
Theme: The greatest chivalry is to serve one's country and its people.
The writing style is comfortable to read, the plot is rich, and the characters are not single. However, I always feel that the male and female protagonists have no sense of CP and cannot be substituted.
I finally guessed it right for once!!!!!!!!!!!! Although if I don't guess this correctly, I will look like a fool...
