Picking a Green Lantern

I'm writing this for practice and will update whenever I feel like it. Enter at your own risk, please be careful.

A millennium-old lantern, a foul-mouthed, stubborn gong X an executioner of the Heavenly Realm, an antisocial shou

One-on-one, younger gong, traditional immortal fantasy, not contracted

As an experienced executioner in the Heavenly Realm, Chu Yunzhou followed the rules, swinging his blade without hesitation. He paid no heed to the world, devoting himself to beheading people.

Life was wonderfully uncomplicated.

Until an unknown, unruly demonic flame was handed to him. He couldn't extinguish it or kill it, but he couldn't get rid of it either.

The demonic flame was imprisoned in a lantern, and Chu Yunzhou lit it every day to keep its arrogance in check.

Unable to stand being controlled, the lantern bellowed, "One day, I, the Great Emperor, will kill you first, Chu Yunzhou, then burn the entire Heavenly Court to the ground! Every corner of the Three Realms will become my ashes!"

Chu Yunzhou focused on sharpening his blade without even looking up. "I can't see."

"Got it." The lantern immediately went over to light his way. "Just you wait. I will definitely kill you and burn down the Heavenly Court, and then... What was it after that?"

Warnings:

1. The gong and shou may not be perfectly likable. If you have high standards for characterizations, enter with caution.
