The Emperor and Empress Are Still on the Run

Other people's parents tell their children to study hard and strive for first place, but Xiao Wan's father, Xiao Xueman, was different. He told him, "Be a good boy, sweetie. Could you stop coming in first all the time? You never let the other kids have a turn. That's not polite." Xiao Wan: "..." One day, he finally worked up the courage to ask why, and got this answer: "Sweetie, if you stand out too much, the people in the First Heaven will discover you. Then they'll lock you and me up until the end of time. Scary, right?" Xiao Wan: "...Wow, so scary." (in a deadpan voice) There are eighteen heavens in the world, ranked by strength. Xiao Wan and his dad live in the Seventeenth Heaven, practically at the very bottom. What could the legendary powerhouses of the First Heaven possibly have to do with them? At first, Xiao Wan suspected his dad might be a wanted criminal who had fled here. Lots of people in the Seventeenth Heaven were like that. But only later did he realize that the legendary Emperor Wangtian of the First Heaven, who was said to have lost his beloved wife and become a living corpse, seemed to be his... other dad? A groveling-for-your-wife story, full of melodrama. The seme was a bit of a scumbag at first, but now only cares about having his wife and child at his side. The uke is in retirement mode, has no interest in romance, and is devoted to raising their child. No switching semes. There are misunderstandings. If this isn't your thing, please don't read it. Before you read: 1. Xiao Xueman (uke) is the protagonist, and Xiao Wan is his biological child. The kid gets a lot of page time [important note], and his relationship with the seme is honestly pretty average, very average. 2. A high-magic, high-spiritual-power otherworldly continent. The uke is gorgeous and a great fighter, with consistently high combat strength. Also, I recommend two completed groveling-for-your-wife stories by a friend: "After Running Away with the Baby, the CEO Begged Me to Remarry" and "Can't I Get a Divorce Just Because I'm Pregnant?" Search for the author Steam Peach. They're really great, please go read them! ---My new story is out! Please add it to your favorites--- Modern danmei: "I Just Want to Be Rich" Jiang Xiao's story began with love at first sight and ended when his heart turned to ash. He treated Lin Chengyu like the white moonlight in the sky, cherishing and spoiling him without complaint, giving him everything he had. Even after his wish came true and he married Mr. Lin, they spent fifteen years together, but in the end, all his passion still turned to ashes. Lin Chengyu was wonderful. He just didn't love him. From beginning to end, they had always belonged to two different worlds. Only on his deathbed did Jiang Xiao finally understand that love can't be forced. In this world, nothing is reliable except the knowledge in your head and the money in your pocket. After being reborn, all he wanted was to study hard, earn money, and become an ordinary, unremarkable scholar who was loaded. Lin Chengyu: QAQ Baby, look at me! I'm rich too. I'll give you all my money, and my life as well. Jiang Xiao (slowly walking away): Thanks, but I don't know you. #Not interested in love, just want to get rich# [Lin Chengyu, CEO of Yongjiang Group, is a famously handsome, rich bachelor in the industry. Everyone thinks he's frigid and destined to be alone forever, but only a few people know that he's doing everything he can to wait for someone to come back to him.] Theme:
